My User Box Contribution
Hey Fall, I wonder if you could help me out: I have made another user box and the same thing has happened again; No users appear in the category. OMG Major Problem!
Fall, help, I dont know what to do, I jst shut down my PC and turned it on again and when I opened GW it stared repairing files or sumink, and when I logged on all my chars armor where starter armors, not my usual elite sets! Its started loading the whole thing again like its just lost all the data, atm its downloading ~19,000 files for my main char. I havent managed to get on to the game yet but im really worried ive been hacked! =( Jay 00:40, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- I saw your msg on Anja's talk, but Anja is asleep atm. I can try to answer this for you. If you have a power failure sometimes the gw data archive gets errors. So when you start the game again it repairs the archive. It is not very likely that you have been hacked. Check out repairing data archive although that article doesnt have too much information yet. Gaile Gray said that her faulty power supply might have been causing regular errors. Any power fluctuation could produce the same results. - BeX

- Thats exactly what happened, its still loading, but on the char select all my chars armors where different, at first i thought it was a hacker, but now ur saying it can be a data malfunction? Jay 00:59, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm sure it's just an error in the .dat file. The armor bug happens sometimes. When you log in and out or onto a char and then back to char select it should show the right armor for all your chars. That one has happened to me several times (and scared the crap out of me too). - BeX 01:06, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

- Ive had a few times where I have reinstalled guildwars and had default skins on my characters, its not really a big deal :) glad everything worked out Fall 01:20, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- It just means that the game needs to get updates and just puts those default armor on them until you it downloads your current armor. Just sit there and let it download in the background. — ク Eloc 貢 01:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Category noninclude?
I'm trying to add a link to a category on my page, but it doesn't just simply display it as text on the page, it puts my page into the category itself... I wonder if you could show me the neat trick to do what I'm trying to get it to do? Thanks xD -- Jay -- 06:59, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
