DAWG was created in December of 2006 because Chael didn't like the capes he was forced to wear. So with limited funds, and even less knowledge of the game, he created his first guild so that his cape would match his armour. So with a spring in his step, and new attire, he set out to conquer the lands and aid the people.

About a month later, with the corpses of monsters stacking high, he decided that he was lonely in his stone fortress and set off to find companions to share in his quests. It wasn't long before he found them and was added to his first Alliance with one other guild. The friends in this new guild were Luxons, and taught Chael the way of the Jade Seas. However, shortly there after, the Alliance Leader and her officers left for Middle Earth never to be heard from again. With the downfall of that Alliance's leader guild, Chael found himself once more alone. He mourned the loss of his new friends and waited patiently for their return. But while Chael waited, he sifted thru the ashes of the abandoned sister guild one day and came across a survivour. Chael rejoiced and with the addition of this refugee from that alliance, Haxor, the two decided to set off and find more companions. They both decided that they had had enough of the smell of dying turtles and other flotsam and jetsum around the Jade Seas and that it was time to check out the Forests of Echovald and cleaner smelling air. Plus, neither of them looked all that good in fish armour, each tired of asking the other "does this make me look fat?"

By the next day, they had found the Forests of Echovald and both agreed that this is where they would would spend the rest of their days. The giant mushrooms kind of helped too. They are wonderful. Now it was time to make a home, and find new friends who could show them how to survive in the woods. It wasnt long before they met a new group of friends and joined thier small Alliance and all was right in the world again. Shedding their fish scales and donning their newly hammered amber attire, they set off to aid the Kurzicks in their fight to take back their forest homes. They had much fun and the bodies of monsters stacked higher than ever before. However, a few months into the new alliance, the leaders of the other 3 guilds started disappearing. At first thought, they blamed Urgoz for this and relentlessly killed him over and over again to no avail. Puzzled that they could not find their leader friends, and more so on how that stupid plant kept growing back everyday, they gave up their search and contacted Round Up about some weed killer. The followers of the missing leaders cried and so turned to Chael for leadership. Chael, finding himself in a difficult situation, decided to step up to the roll and take control of the alliance in July of 2007 and has led the DAWG Alliance ever since. And the people rejoiced.

Chael has made many friends over the years of battle. He has seen many fall as well, but they will always be remembered. He has welcomed many to his fortress as members and forged many Alliances in and outside his own. Mostly due to his amazing clan. And he owes much more than he can ever express to his officers and members who have become close friends, family, and great companions in battle. Without their friendship, Chael would not only be very lonely, he would not be here today to see if the Round Up will finally kill that stupid plant.

Recruitment

Chael has never actively recruited followers to his banner, but has found many friends along his travels across the Realms and has always kept an open drawbridge for the floods of refugees from kingdoms that have fallen. He will continue to do this until the Realms fall to dust.
