Lowland Lions [LLL] is a friendly, helpful, and pleasant guild. It was formally founded during the Beta testing period of Guild Wars and was officially founded on January the 7th 2005 during the last beta test. The guild is for Dutch speaking players only. Lowland Lions is mainly a PvE guild. The main focus lies on fun but don't underestimate their players because of that. Lowland Lions is part of a Dutch only alliance. As a guild, the [LLL] tries to do all sorts of fun things together.

Lowland Lions History

The Lowland Lions guild was founded January the 7th, 2005 and is therefore one of the oldest guilds in Guild Wars. The guild has been well populated over these years and due to this success we had to create the Lowland Lions Two because of the 100 member cap. When alliances could be formed with other guilds we allied with a [Dutch Community site]. Due to different intrests we left this alliance and started our own Alliance.

Lowland Lions future

The guild flourished and friends participate again in helping each other conquering, adventuring and realizing the different objectives of the game. With respect and fun we play.

Anniversaries

Our second birthday was celebrated in our Guild Hall with a lot of mini-games to be played. The main event was a friendly GvG match versus Peace And Harmony [PnH], which was awesome.

Third year anniversary was not only celebrated with our alliance but also a guest joined our guild, none other than Gaile Grey herself. For more information about this event, see [Link on Guildwarsguru.com] and [Link on guildwars.incgamer.com].

Forth year anniversary wasn't celebrated big because the guild and alliance where less active at the time. We hope this celebration can still be held in the coming time.

We skipped the celebration of our fifth, sixth and seventh anniversary due to lesser activity from our friends waiting for GW2. We held for the third time a LAN event instead with the core members of the guild.

Lowland Lions Alliance

July the 7th marked the day that the Lowland Lions started its own alliance. It was soon joined by 3 other guilds which contain mostly old Lowland Lions members. These were Morgaine Le Faye [MLF], The Royal Dutch Lions [RDL] and off course our second guild Lowland Lions Two [LLL]. As of April 8th the Lowland Lions promoted Lowland Lions Two as leader of the LLL Alliance due to inactivity among the 9 guilds. We broadened our horizons to find a suitable alliance to give our players more interaction and activity among other guilds. Because the LLL left the alliance, the remaining alliance is far from active and remains only to keep ties with our past friends. These days we follow the steps of fellow Guild Wars dutch fans in the East Indian Guild [EIG] alliance.
