The GODS alliance was formed by about 15 players who were all originally from the KISS alliance. When KISS split up, people went in different directions. Some continued and made a new KISS and others helped to start the GODS alliance. Others just came for the change of scenery. These people are the ones who started the GODS alliance; Fear Thee Blade, Agarash Blackhammer, Alzor Darkhammer, Crap On A Stickie, Desolate Wrath, Devine Rain, Divinity Soc, The Dragon Chaser, General Mrs Piggy, Jack The Fearlord, Lights Heaven, Natical Deathscythe, Sakura Avolka, Tante Mie, Uchiha Hide, and a couple more.

Why the cape?

Well the cape is unique. I've never seen it in another alliance/guild before. It was created by Fear Thee Blade off the top of his head and was not copied from any other alliance/guild. That was one of the reasons it was chosen.

The other reason is for the looks. As you can see by the picture on the right, it has a sword and a fireball at the bottom. This represents many things. Three of the main ones the alliance call it is either "The Sword in the Stone" (which is a novel by T. H. White) because it looks like a sword stuck in the stone, or others call it the "Plunging Sword" because it looks like a sword being plunged downwards, or others call it the "Final Thrust", mainly based on the skill's image.

The GvG alliance, idea from our Alliance Leader, Fear Thee Blade:

"You might or you might not have heard that I came up with the idea to make an alliance PURELY dedicated to GvG.

You might think, "Whaaat?! People have tried before. It won't work!" Well don't. We have people dedicated to GvG throughout the alliance who are willing to help. This is the idea:

We make 10 guilds. We fill them up with GvG dedicated people. At that point, we should have around 800-1000 people dedicated to GvG. 8 from each guild will participate in GvG.

I know your thinking, "What are the other people not participating in GvG gonna do?" Well that's sorted. They will bet on who will win. Which guild in the alliance will win or lose. Bet are made higher or lower depending on how well the guild has done in the past.

People who participate in GvG will get a prize depending on where they come in the leaderboard. This way, people will want to take part in GvG as well as bet.

All bets will be handed to a guild leader, so are trusted. This person will neither scam nor say your bet was false. If they do so they will be forcibly removed from the alliance.

No bets will be above 50k, otherwise there is a chance the guild leader will get banned, and also the person handing in the bet.

So people have truth that a certain guild won or lost, we will have one person in each guild record the battles using GameCam or HyperCam, etc. The person will use the Observe mode so will not have to enter the GvG. This person will earn 5k for the video they record. These videos will be uploaded onto YouTube, and in turn posted on the forum, so all can watch and have proof that their bet was good or bad. This way, no fuss can be kicked up about false bets.

If a bet is made, it will be posted on the forum BY THE GAMBLER, and in turn the guild leader will edit the post to say that the bet is genuine and not false. If no-one edit the post, the bet will be considered false. Do NOT try to argue back, it will earn you nothing but maybe even a kick.

This is all that will happen in the alliance, and hoping everything goes to plan, it will go on."

Recruitment

As I was saying, people joined for the new scenery and also for the new type of guild we made. The GODS alliance was going to be made into a brand new GvG alliance. For more information, look up one paragraph!

If you want to be recruited, contact any one of the people below for an invite. Questions may be asked about your GuildWars playing time and age before you will be invited into the alliance.

Requirements

In the GODS alliance, we do not believe in age requirements. Some people believe that maturity comes at a certain age. We don't. If you are mature, mild mannered, and active, you can join the alliance and the GvG teams also if you wish.

The GvG team is slightly different, with a couple more requirements. You will need to play in time with everyone else (EG: if everyone plays GvG at 9pm GMT and you live in EST, try get online for 5pm) and have most or all skills unlocked for the profession you choose the play in GvG.
