Dialogue[edit]

"Those... dreadful... corsairs took my beloved away from me. He died fighting them somewhere at sea. Oh, my poor Wehsehlei... how I miss him! Can you help me? I hoped to buy his freedom, but I have no coin. The only thing corsairs understand is gold. If you bring me 5 Gold Doubloons, maybe I can use their own gold coins to buy my Wehsehlei's freedom. In return, I'll gladly give you:"

Notes[edit]

  • Her dialogue is odd, because in the beginning of it she says he died, but then implies that he is still alive by stating that she is going to bribe the Corsairs to set her husband free. At one point in The Princess Bride, Wesley was only mostly dead. Possibly the reason for this apparent contradiction.

Trivia[edit]

  • Phonetically Wehsehlei is equivalent to Wesley, who is a protagonist from The Princess Bride. Wesley "dies" at sea when his ship is taken by the Dread Pirate Roberts, although in fact Wesley manages to live.
