To Mesmers before completing the quest Primary Training or non-Mesmers after starting the quest Secondary Training, who don't know all the skills taught by this trainer already:

"I heard about what you did to help save Chahbek Village. A pity you couldn't do something before my cousin was slain. I...I'm sorry. That was unkind. I'm certain you did all you could. If you really want to strike back at those corsairs like a true Mesmer you would do well to learn something about hexes. Fortunately some of our new recruits have "volunteered" to play the role of a corsair so we can practice."

Can you teach me some Mesmer skills?

Suti teaches you the skills Conjure Phantasm and Shatter Hex.

Tell me about hexes.

"Hex spells cause negative effects for a period of time. They may damage your foes directly, prevent them from using certain skills, or decrease their abilities. A small, purple downward arrow on a character's Health Bar indicates that a Hex spell has been cast upon that character. If a Hex spell is cast upon you, you can read its description and learn its effects by hovering your mouse over the spell's icon on the top left corner of your default screen. Hex spells that cause Health degeneration will turn your Health Bar purple."

To Mesmers or those without a secondary profession:

"One of my cousins was slain in the raid! I'll make these corsairs pay dearly for what they've done. In time I'll teach them a thing or two about the fine art of hexing!"
