Grammar

Russia

Would it be possible to somehow acquire a Russian copy of the game, and add the key to an account that already has prophecies? Why do all these foreign countries get items with crazy-stats and Americans are stuck with the same old mods. I find it all ridiculous :(

Efficiency

Like all other shields, does this particular item still gives half AL when it's armor requirement not met? (primarily the strength requirement) Has anyone tested it? Sinic 5:09, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I've not tested this (European Pre-orderer here) but I would think not. I always get at least 8 strength on my warrior in any case. I have a fun little build where I use this and a +5 energy axe on swap and a Furious +15/-5 energy axe and a normal shield immediately following a Decapitate to get a load of energy back. For monks, and warriors

   * Energy +5 
   * Energy +3 (Requires 8 Divine Favor) , Armor +8 (Requires 8 Divine Favor) --> 8 energy shield for monks
   * Armor +16 (Requires 8 Strength) --> +5 energy shield for warriors

A perfect shield is 16 armor. You're right to say a shield can generally not have bonus energy effects. This is a focus item that offers +16 armor at rank 8 Strength and above. That puts the armor rating on par with a max-stats shield. The phrasing of the note could use some work, but essentially it's saying this focus item can substitute a perfect shield of 16 armor and has an added +5 energy instead of the regular modifiers. - Infinite - talk 01:23, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
