Should "nerf" point here? EMonk 10:27, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

- Exactly. Problem is he knows less about the skills than most of the whiny little PvP-Obsessive brats that he works so hard to appease. ~ J.Kougar 06:40, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- You need to get your points straight...i think he does a great job with Most of the skills, but sometimes i dont like when he nerfs some skills. Overall, i think he does good to BALANCE gw, not make every skill overpowered--Raph Talky 15:48, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- You think Ursan is a great job? he does good to balance Guild Wars? which side of it? 203.109.186.49 04:39, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Since last Wintersday, these 3 months only changes less than 10 skills. Despite HA, HB , AB , RA , TA. Anet never care the balance of these arena. They focus on GvG only , but they still fail this. I dont know why they dont accept Vampiric Spirit is a worst rework. It just make Blood Spike invincible. Izzy got one of the best job in this world, he can just watch Youtube and do nothing, Anet still pay him. So many gimmicky builds there and he doesn't care, he still get the salary.PATHETIC GAME.--140.128.67.248 05:06, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- I too agree with Kurd! The guy does his job, and he does it good, but he does need to do somthing about shadow form. It has gone too far with it, even though he does try. Hidan Santai 07:58, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
LOCK![edit]
I suggest locking this page completely, only being editable by sysops higher ~ Kurd17:49, 13 April 2007 (EDT)
- I'd suggest also allowing the guy to be able to edit his page too. EMonk 08:46, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
- This isn't "his" page - that's over at User:Isaiah Cartwright :) This page is the same as any other - if it gets vandalised, fix it. I (and I imagine many others) have this page watchlisted just in case. A lock would only be necessary in the face of many vandalisms from multiple sources --Snograt 09:16, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Talk page?[edit]
Is this where we contact Izzy for things that have to do with the Guild Halls? I have a question for him about them. Linsey Murdock pointed me here. Counciler 00:35, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- You need to go to his user page, User talk:Isaiah Cartwright. ‽-(eronth) I give up 20:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Epic Cartwheels[edit]
I added this little tidbit in just for some fun trivia. I obtained this information while chatting in alliance chat once about how I feel bad that Izzy has to put up with a lot of shit and how I thought that he's doing a great job. Anyway, Little Izzy the NPC is named aer him and thats why he talks about his cartwheels too. ;)--'ÑöẊĭƑý 13:12, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
"How i thought that he's doing a great job." where have you been for the last 2 years?
In Game Picture[edit]
I have a In-game picture of him but It was a WHILE back and other players is inside his avatar. I am not sure if I should post it or not. I guess the one I have can be a temp until a better one is taken. --Mithos Agar 06:30, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think all these people here that are tolerating his absurdness are Gay-net's employees. Oops did I say gay-net? I meant a-net...w/e same thing. Anyways, anyone in the right mind would be sane to flame him, though I think we'd need quite alot of flame to FLAME his fat ass. ur fat! Eat more pizza! Your fat! OMG why're u so fat! You fat boy! fatty fattison! You don't need to nerf sins, u can just sit on them. GG ~Readem

Page Name[edit]
Since his full name is Stephen Isaiah Cartwright and not Isaiah Cartwright, shouldn't the page be named like that? --MageMontu 14:02, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- He prefers using Isaiah (seeing as the other nicknames come from that, and he calls himself Izzy rather than Stevie) -- I'd prefer doing what Wikipedia does and go with the commonly used, but formal (i.e. not a nickname like Izzy), name. -- Brains12 \ talk 17:21, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Live Team[edit]
On Guild Wars Live Team Izzy is not listed, does that mean he is no longer the skill balancer for GW1? Is one of the members of the Live Team the new balancer? --Shadowphoenix 04:10, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- The live team is the team which works solely on Guild Wars. Izzy works primarily on Guild Wars 2, but he still works on Guild Wars - he's just not dedicated to it as the live team are. At least, that's how I think it works :/ -- Brains12 \ talk 17:46, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

- Isaiah's absence of attention and/or interest to Guild Wars One is apperent in his work {skill balances (or should I refer to them as assasinations).. and the lack thereof -.-}. Honestly.. For whatever reasons (be it he has a busy agenda, lots of work, etc..), it's no excuse.. I hope he quits being involved in skill-balancing and let's someone else who's impartial, unbaised and compassionate take over for a change. No offense, Isaiah. It's the solemn truth. --Warren G 03:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, but its kinda obvious that they really aren't going to do anything substantial to alleviate the situation and fix the gimmicks etc until GW2 comes out, and then they will have GW2 Gimmicks and shit to balance so GW is probably going to stay like this forever.Crimmastermind 03:39, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

- How're my statements unsubstantiated? Look at all the flaws in them! Smiter's Boon, Shroud Of Silence, Incoming, Expose Defenses vs Rigor Mortis, Expert's Dexterity vs any other IAS, Horns of the Ox, Black Lotus Strike (useless), Wild Strike vs Fox Fangs, Soul Bind vs Scourge (need I keep going?). The list goes on and on and on; it's not about "glass: half full or half empty", either. These are blatent, merciless nerfs and erroneous fabrications of skills. Evidently Isaiah does not give a flying fist about skills and balancing anymore. Enough said.. They're not assumptions; face the facts, rant. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Ulterion (talk).
- I'm not talking about the skills. I'm talking about your statement simply assuming that Isaiah himself made the decision to "not give a flying fist about skills and balancing anymore". Rant all you want on skill balance, but sorry I don't usually accept another person's perception about another person's activities as fact. For all we know, ArenaNet wants to keep Isaiah doing what he's doing. For all we know, ArenaNet wants Isaiah to work on something else. -- ab.er.rant 01:48, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, they're your eyes, ears and mind so you can think whatever the flip you want. I conclude that, based on all the lack of balance and order along with illogical skill changes (especially the skills that he completely assassinates *listed above + many more*), Isaiah officially doesn't care to fix anything anymore; it is also highly probable that, given GW2 is around the corner, he probably isn't going to alot any attention to the current ongoing GW1. Support Isaiah all you want Rant, but I call it like I see it and tell it to ya like it is. --Warren G 17:24, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't really care what he does, if you wanna rant, at least rant correctly and not make assumptions of why he's doing something, and ignoring the fact he's also just an employee of a company. But agreed, it's your perceptions, so you too can conclude whatever you want. -- ab.er.rant 03:07, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
