 Well then, where to start? Hikari is a complicated fellow, with a complicated past. He originally entered the lives of the Order of Twilight while possessed by a Wraith. The Wraith was after souls; in perticular, Silavor's. Through the combined efforts of the Order, the Orphans, and the Driantians, the general of The Broodmother was exorcised back into the Realm of Torment. While Hikari's body was unharmed, his mind seems to have broken. He had no memories of the time from before the Wraith possessed him, and so he set off on a year-long journey to discover just who he was. Whatever Hikari Ikiru discovered on that journey was evidently enough to make him join the Keepers, but I haven't pressed him for details about it just yet. |
