 Valerie Free Spirit, Majestic Hero

Valerie Free Spirit was born in Shing Jea Monastary in the middle of a crisis. The Monastary was being overun by creatures known as the afflicted. No one knows where they came from or why they are killing everyone. Everyone gathered there things and started to leave with there loved ones. Valerie was an the 1st and only child of her parents. She was just a newborn so they had to find a safe place to raise her where the afflicted couldn't find her. A small town called Tsmei Village was now far from Shing Jea. Her parents made it there saftly with Valerie and the other villagers let them take shelter there. A few highly skilled monks in the village made a scared barrier so they can allow who comes in and keep the afflicted creaters out. It was started to become known as the safe haven from the afflicted. Tons of familys started to live there so Valerie made many new friends as she was growing up. When Valerie was 10 another girl her age was teasing her. Making fun of her for her height and hair. Valerie was unusualy tall for her age and had long dark hair that reached her knees. Valerie was fed up with being teased but the adults were too busy building an extention to the village for more people to escape the afflicted so they could'nt help her. A few weeks passed and Valerie was hiding in her house from the mean kids outside. She was pushed to her limit. She ran outside and screamed "I've had enough just leave me alone!" She looked at the girl who kept bullying her and pointed at her. Fire came from her hand and set her on fire. Valerie passed out. She woke up being hovered by her parents. They explained to her what happened and she was shocked. She said her ancesters possessed some unique ability to control the four elements earth, water, air, and fire. They explained that was years ago and no one in there family has obtained powers since. Valerie was the first gifted child in generations and she wanted to take advantage of her unique abilities. She practiced every day for hours and hours. By the time she was 15 she mastered the art of water. When she was 17 she had mastered air, water, and earth magic but for some reason could not get the hang of fire magic. She knew she was capable for she did it once before but that was subcounesly. She made a promise to herself to just use her powers for good. She was hoping she would gain the ability of fire in time. She said goodbye to her parents and village and left to stop the afflicted. She said we should not have to live in fear of leaving our village anymore. She traveled to Seitung Harbor for a rumor she heard. When she got there the rumor was true, there was a ferry that could take her away from the island to another "land" and hopefully find the source of the plague. She made friends on the new land such as Brother Mhenlo, Master Togo, Cynn, and Devona. Valerie and her friends soon discovered the source was a deceased villain named Shiro seaking revenge. Valerie knew what she had to do. She met Shiro face to face the Imperial Sanctum. She tried to reason with him but he would not give. He seperated her from her friends in the palace. Valerie had to face Shiro by herself now. After a few hours of battling she was at the end of her limit. She felt as though she was going to pass out. Then she felt herself turn hot. She felt like she was going airborn. It started to rain fire and lava started seeping out of the floor onto Shiro. He couldn't move. He was being burned alive. Valerie said "I'm sorry it had to come to this" and then he died. The lava soon englufed Valerie but it did not harm her. It was absorbing into her. She could now summon and control fire whenever she wanted. For she had to be pushed to her limit once again to obtain this power and now the power was hers. Valerie retured to Tsumei Village to visit her parents and they were so proud. She was 26 now and said she was going to travel the world helping people in need but promised she would visit every so often. Valerie was now known as the Hero of Cantha.
