Must have access to Lion's Arch Keep, see flowchart for details.
Objectives[edit]
- Kill Calamitous in Watchtower Coast
- *BONUS* Kill Calamitous in Hard Mode
- See Princess Salma for your reward
Reward[edit]
- 3,000 Experience
- 750 Gold
- Complete the Base Objective for 10 War Supplies
- Complete the *BONUS* Objective for an additional 5 War Supplies
Walkthrough[edit]
Start from Beetletun, go north, carefully pulling Minea the Obscene and her group. Try to avoid pulling the two nearby groups together with the boss group. If Courier Falken spawns he usually rushes ahead and pulls all three groups, so it might be preferable to just let him go in front of you and die. After the boss and the nearby groups have been taken care of, continue going north killing the small groups. Calamitous and his cronies will be on the right side at the start of the beach area.

Initial dialogue[edit]

- "Calamitous is not satisfied with simply terrorizing those in the mortal realm, he insists on binding the spirits of his victims to his evil will. Kill Calamitous in Watchtower Coast and liberate his spectral slaves, allowing them to pass on to the Underworld. Queen Salma will pay a bounty to those with enough valor and skill to perform this noble deed."
- After completion of The Battle for Lion's Arch
- "Re-create this classic event from the War in Kryta! Calamitous was not satisfied with simply terrorizing those in the mortal realm, he insisted on binding the spirits of his victims to his evil will. Relive history by killing Calamitous in Watchtower Coast and freeing his spectral slaves to earn Queen Salma's bounty!"
Accept: "I'll do whatever I can to help restore order to Kryta."
Decline: "War! What is it good for?"
Ask: "Travel to Watchtower Coast and slay Calamitous. Let him face his victims in the Underworld and suffer an eternity of punishment for his ill deeds."
