Glyph

Skill type. A Glyph is a type of skill that is only available to the Elementalists. Glyphs are used to alter the effects of the next one or more spells cast.
  • Glyphs cannot be removed by foes once they have been activated.
  • All glyphs cost 5 energy to cast and have an activation time of one second.
  • If the glyph is not completely "used up" within a time (15 seconds unless otherwise specified), the glyph's effect ends.
  • If a glyph is cast while another glyph is already active, the new one replaces the old one. Casting a glyph is not casting a spell, therefore none of the effects of the previous glyph will affect the new one.
  • Spells will not generally consume a glyph's "charges" if they are cancelled, the only exceptions are Glyph of Energy and Glyph of Lesser Energy.
  • Glyph effects always occur before the effect of the spell effect where applicable, such as Glyph of Immolation and Glyph of Restoration.
