I've generally gotten a diamond and a rare (gold) from this chest (I have yet to get a unique in this dungeon). On two occasions, I have gotten only a single onyx. This has also occurred in a few other tri-leveled dungeons.

I am wondering if this is abnormal, or if the game is counting diamond as a common drop from one of these dungeon chests. I may be wrong, but it seems that onyx may be considered a higher leveled drop, as compared to diamond, displacing a standard rare drop, as the burrows chest has frequently dropped both a diamond and an onyx for me, but no rare item, and on most occasions, a diamond and a rare (gold) or unique (green) item. Never have I gotten an onyx with a gold or green item, from any dungeon's chest.

I understand that a chest's "range" of contents are likely relative to the difficulty of the dungeon, so this seems a plausible theory to me. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Gwynna Vive 10:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
