I believe i found 1 in ICE CLIFF CHASM area in a locked chest (Normal mode). It has AIR MAGIC attribute. Lucky me that i found a R9 :). Never seen it again and i played like over 10 hours a day. And since this page is still empty i guess its kinda rare. The staff has a trail of "glitters" comming from is when you walk with it (or whatever but when walking its nice :)). I made my fire ele an air ele specialy for this staff :).

I got one from the chest near Johon the Oxflinger. It's a req 9 air staff ~Blackthorne

Yeah, this is my one of my favorite weapons of all time (even though mine is req 11 :P). Though It would be even more amazing as a stabbing sword... can you imagine a warrior just beating the crud out of something with an electric cattle prod? Steve 03:35, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

i was lucky enough to get a perfect req 9 one, inscribable with no other stats... im working on upgrading it, goes well with Vekk :)

thats weird, the following herosheros i gave this until yet hold it right: female and male derwish, dwarf, female and male monk, female paragon. Ok, there is a little clipping issue with accolyth jin (female ranger). the staff pierces her hand a bit. Is it this what you mean? Well, the clipping issues on several shields on male mesmers and female monks are a lot better to see :P —ZerphaThe Improver 02:02, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

I was farming avalanches on my derv and I killed Whiteout (a water ele boss) he dropped it in Normal Mode. Should I add this as a rare drop location? It was a max, req 9 Dogzrdogz talk

/agree x infinity. Yea, I LOVE this staff, I hate having to hold items on my ele now :P (i.e. Spear of Archemorus or Urn of Saint Viktor) Gotta give props to ArenaNet, but I'd love to have one of these on my ritualist or my necromancer. Anyone else agree? Sentry007 20:50, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

That's impossible, weapons after Nightfall don't come with the mixed attributes, only Prophecies / Factions weapons drop like that (which is why i have a q9 Eternal Shield +1 Earth Magic), in EotN / NF however they drop with a 'of <Skill>' mod which uses the Staves inherent requirement to fill in the blank. In this case, that's Air Magic. Would be nice if it had mods like that, but it doesn't drop that way. It is an awesome staff, looks great on a trapper. LunchboxOctober 04:25, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
