Image naming[edit]If there is a render image saved as .png at the location you wish to upload, resave and reupload it as .jpg to avoid naming conflicts. Some items share inventory icons, in which case, the image should be uploaded once and then shared on different pages. Armor icon naming[edit]Image:<Profession> <Art> <Piece> <gender>.png
Weapon icon naming[edit]Normal item skins are uploaded with just its name.
Weapons with multiple skins[edit]Items that share multiple skins should have the file name appended with a disambiguation identifier. See Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/Article names for detailed information on accepted forms of disambig identifiers. Use the item name, then in brackets a word that describes the skin more precisely and differentiates it from other items sharing its name. If the word is a common noun it should be uncapitalized (i.e. "common"). If it is a proper noun it should be capitalized (i.e. "Nightfall"). Naming can be very diverse. Item skins with the same name share one page at the moment, although render images may already be named as advised above. If a disambiguation identifier hasn't been chosen for a skin, then you should choose the best fitting one. You can also change any identifiers that are inaccurate or inadequate. There are often reward weapons that use a specific name for each of those skins, so in case these exist, the disambiguations should be adapted to their names. Also mind capitalization here when preceding.
Reward weapons[edit]There are several item names and skins that only occur on reward weapons. Like regular item skins, these are simply uploaded under their name.
Unique items[edit]Unique items should have individual icon images uploaded, whether or not they share their skin with a normal weapon. Many unique items do not use either the model shape or color (and accordingly inventory icons) of normal item weapons.
