- The skill and the Hidden Treasures are commonly referred to as LoD.
- This skill is required to spawn the Silver Vaettir.
- Hidden Objects
- Hidden objects can only be found in dungeons.
- There are no hidden objects in Fronis Irontoe's Lair, Slavers' Exile, or in any underground instance entered as part of a primary quest.
- Using the skill will expose any nearby hidden objects; any remaining ones within compass range will ping yellow on the compass and be marked by a green shimmer over its location.
- A yellow ping does not sound for the objects already shimmering.
- The shimmer remains for a short period of time.
- Hidden objects include:
- Ghostly allies, i.e. a level 24 Dwarven Ghost.
- Hidden Treasures.
- Secret passages, such as the wall in the first level of Raven's Point that crumbles once the players are in front of it.
- Switches that open doors.
Trivia[edit]
- The November 3, 2011 game update fixed a bug that prevented hidden treasures from appearing under various circumstances, including failing to spawn if discovered shortly after entering a level or not discovered on first use of the skill. Some treasures never spawned. Since the fix, all possible treasures now spawn; for example, now you can find around 10 treasures on the third level of Oola's Lab compared to typically finding only five or six in the past.
