they do exist i just had one drop in GW:EN in bjora marches from a dreamroot mandragor-Alpha

yeah there is a henchie from tyria thats uses this there is also a boss in the norther shiverpeakes (prohpesies) that drops a special sheild that looks like this. i've yet to see one just drop though Auron_Bushi

Yeah, not only do they drop from foes, but they can be given in exchange for 5 Frozen Wurm Husks. You find the collecter Danira in the Jaga Moraine. Coincidentally, there is some nice wurm hunting north of where she is (real quick and easy). - Amazing Steve

Dye

Ok, so "Only some variants of the shield can be dyed". Should this be a bug? Are there any other items that some can be dyed and some can't? Because I just took a risk, got 2 of these shields from Guru auctions (yes i like this skin) and neither can be dyed. Dont really care about the gold but its annoying I have to keep looking for another one that can be dyed.
