Wyn is really easy to bait, but this really well executed. I tip my hat to you sir. NuVII 13:24, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not 100% sure what you mean but I'm not trying to bait anyone. The page was in good need of a protection. -- Lacky 13:25, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Thanks ♥
You putted up my goal for me. ^^ Most people don't even change the count on the "1 through 40" thing, let alone that. Ryuu - talk 07:39, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Question
Sorry to disturb ya but I have a tiny question. How did u get the design infront on ur username I wanna see if I can make one for me.(: ty IcyyyBlue- 23:21,5 January (UTC)
- One of my fellow wikians made my signature image for me. -- Lacky 06:03, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- If you want to view the entire talk page content about my sig image, you can view it by clicking here. I originally asked User:Wandering Traveler, however it was User:Jon Lupen that actually made it for me. Hope this has helped you out somewhat. -- Lacky 06:11, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
You posted something about me with my name on it....
I got a heads up from a kid that you posted a "facebook fail" that I posted. I don't know who you are or how you saw it, but you left me full name on the main message. Please (at least) black out my name. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.63.134.134 (talk).
- There was once a picture that I saw on /b/ of someone having a "FaceBook Fail", however I don't know/remember if I did ever post that on here/anywhere. I assure you that I was not the original poster of it in any case, and I was no the one who blacked out the named/left some names un-covered in the first place. If you are able to find somewhere where I a did post it, I shall try my best to amend it however. In any case, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I hope that I am able to help you. -- Lacky 06:03, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned Images
Lacky, there's not a need for the bot as there's enough people that can take it orphaned. Hope you understand. I know, you're trying to be helpful, but I know of at least two to three others or so more that tag those images anyway. If no one did, I could see the need for the bot. -- riyen ♥ 16:28, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- I know, but it helps none the less. Besides, I like programming. Keeps me active, and thinking. Also takes my mind off...things. Figure I may as well program something useful other than other creations that I have made in the past, such as a WebBrowser. I originally was going to make a bot that tags guilds that are in-active, but I can't because of policy. I have always wanted to make a bot for this wiki, and this seems to be one that I can (easily) make. -- Lacky 16:37, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Move log
I was doing a review through the logs and came across the Death Leveling moves. Just to correct any misconceptions that you may have, when adding the suffix ing, level can be leveling or levelling. — Gares 16:31, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, I can understand that, it's just that, whenever I have seen it, no matter what country it was from, I always saw it as a double L. -- Lacky 16:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- No worries. Figured I'd go ahead and get my one inconsequential nitpick over and done with for the day. — Gares 17:09, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I'm glad you chose me. It's 3am and I'm bored. Can't sleep though. I woke up at like 4pm today. -- Lacky 17:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- May be worth to note also that, when dealing with american and british spelling, we just leave things as they are. Levelling just looks fugly.--Fighterdoken 21:03, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- Well as stated above, I have always seen it with a double L, no matter what country it was from. Even my American mates use double L. -- Lacky 00:31, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- That's why I didn't suggest a move, because I've seen it spelled both ways, caught myself spelling it both ways, and can't find any documentation stating if either form is used specifically in a particular regions, such as armor/armour. — Gares 15:14, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

His code is shorter. That's just a fact. I highly doubt poke did it just to piss you off- don't take things so personally. – Emmett 20:27, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think he did Emmett. Though GJ lacky for baiting an admin without meaning to. You may have what we circumspectly call "the gift". NuVII 21:25, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Emmett, don't take this the wrong way or anything but, it's 10am, I haven't slept all night, it was god knows what time when I posted that, and I really just don't give a flying fuck right now. I wasn't angry or anything about it, I was just a bit...well, I don't know really...guess I just feel kind of bad/sad because when I tried to help, someone (well, some people) just did it better than me and I felt as if I wasn't good enough or something. Ahh well, it doesn't matter. It's all said and done and good now. I'm sure Rose of Kali has it all sorted out now.
- @Nuclear: I don't mean too, however I think this must be like the second or third time it's happened. I'm not trying to do anything. These things just seem to...happen. I might have a gift, but it seems like a curse. -- Lacky 23:49, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Adding a picture of my photoshoped idea 'Barak Iguana' would be considerd copyright/racist? --Neil2250 16:03, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Even thinking that sounds racist...so go ahead! =P
- Just kidding, I have no idea. If the original Barack Obama picture is licensed under the GFDL I see no harm in it. Unless you made it from scratch in which case I think it would be fine as well. I am not 100% certain though so don't quote me on that please. -- Lacky 19:36, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- It's pretty easy to determine if it's going to be racist, but you never know now-a-days. Guess it all depends on whatever a Barak Iguana is or is doing/saying. Lacky is right about the copyright part. — Gares 20:11, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

- "Faggot" is not a word I would use to call a person who is homosexual, and I do not like it - besides, "faggot" conventionally means "a bundle of sticks", however used in the fashion Danny did, it is derogatory. - I know what I am doing. The bot works, I am just trying to implement a new feature into it. Also, please ask these types of questions over at my user talk page at User_talk:Lacky. Thanks. -- Lacky 00:41, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, many tag the photos orphaned. No need for a bot for that as it gives something to do for some on here and it's not quiet as much as tagging guilds historical. Kaisha 00:59, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I suggest you change the status of your bot (: –alistic 02:38, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Is your bot suppose to tag each file not orphaned, when tagging it orphaned for deletion? Kaisha 03:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Ahh, thank you for reminding me Balistic, I normally do, however I didn't because I was actually debugging it a bit, however it's almost all sorted out now, so I am testing it fully now so I have changed it now. @Kaisha: I originally intended to create a bot to tag inactive guilds, however that is not possible (for me) due to policy requirements. And yes, I did make it do that as without tagging with the {{not orphaned}} template, the image still stays on the list. The Orphanator is almost working perfectly/flawlessly, there is only one or two more things I need to implement in it to work properly. -- Lacky 02:51, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Some that are tagged for deletion, are also tagged "not orphaned". It confused me. Kaisha 03:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I intentionally did that. I know it's kind of redundant, however so far it's the only way I've been able to get the images off the list to do the next one. After I get this other thing added into it, I will work on that. It's not a big problem and I should be able to do it easily enough. Is just quicker the way I currently have it. -- Lacky 03:22, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I am currently working on this function that should help resolve a few problems as well, however they don't seem to be working for some reason. I am looking into it. -- Lacky 03:24, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Cool. Hope it'll work, but it's hard to know if photos are actually orphaned or not with a bot. Hence, people can do what links here to see if it's actually orphaned. Kaisha 03:26, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- The files only come up on the list if they are orphaned and not linked to though, aren't they? -- Lacky 03:27, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I think that if the photo it's self is not used, it'll come up. Despite if it's linked or not. Kaisha 03:31, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, that's odd... -- Lacky 03:33, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I believe that's why some that appear orphaned, are used in talk pages, etc. and are tagged {{not orphaned}} for that reason as they are not orphaned and in use. Kaisha 05:57, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Also, images which have been moved, which has no image links or file links will show up on the orphaned list whether or not it is linked to by the image redirect. –alistic 06:00, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) When tagging orphaned images, you have to check "What's linked here" every time, this is why using a bot for it is bad. If it were that easy, Wikichu would have been doing it long ago. -- Wyn talk 06:15, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

You know that anyone who uses {{Aion Wings}} will get all three userboxes in a row the way you have the template set up. Probably not the best design. I would suggestion you separate them into 3 separate templates. -- Wyn talk 11:35, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

- As I explained to Zora, to preserve the edit history, the pages needed to be moved back, but because of the redirects, that had to be done by a sysop. -- Wyn talk 10:46, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Is that in response to my message on your page? If so, thanks for the explanation. -- Lacky 10:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Quite honestly, in response to your comment on my page, I have no clue, I've never used the move log in that way, I've always used the move over the redirect, which I believe requires sysop permissions since it involves the deletion of the redirect. -- Wyn talk 10:51, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- The internal variables of "I Am the Strongest!" skill page also needs to be updated, moving just changes the page name.--Zora 10:59, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Ahh alright Wyn. Well I shall try to look into it sometime. But yes, you are right about the moving over the redirect, because the page has already been created, but as I said, I think using the revert in the move log does the same thing but without the need for sysop intervention, however I am not 100% sure. @Zora: I'm not sure I understand what you mean? -- Lacky 11:09, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Zora, if you mean change all the IATS to IAtS, then I have already done that. -- Lacky 11:12, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sysop permissions aren't required when the move destination is only a redirect left over from a previous move (i.e. if you want to move a page over a pure move remnant, you can do it without sysop - that's a "move over redirect" and doesn't involve deletion). It doesn't matter if it's done by going to "revert" in the move log or manually - the former is just a quick-step to the latter.
- If a move remnant has been edited after becoming a move remnant, that would require deletion. -- pling 12:13, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

- The internal variables of "I Am the Strongest!" skill page also needs to be updated, moving just changes the page name.--Zora 10:59, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Quite honestly, in response to your comment on my page, I have no clue, I've never used the move log in that way, I've always used the move over the redirect, which I believe requires sysop permissions since it involves the deletion of the redirect. -- Wyn talk 10:51, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Is that in response to my message on your page? If so, thanks for the explanation. -- Lacky 10:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- As I explained to Zora, to preserve the edit history, the pages needed to be moved back, but because of the redirects, that had to be done by a sysop. -- Wyn talk 10:46, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Never mind, it seems you did it for me Wyn. -- Lacky 10:42, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I just saw that and was in the process of reverting. -- Lacky 10:41, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- No, the update page says the speech bubble was changed... did you check the skill in the game? Don't make changes solely based on teh update page without verifying it in game first. -- Wyn talk 10:39, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
(Reset indent) Ok, so Zora's edit had eliminated the possibility of simply reverting the move. -- Wyn talk 12:20, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the knowledge, Pling! I shall bear that in mind. And thanks Wyn for pointing that out. -- Lacky 12:21, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Out of curiosity, are those 100+ links gonna be fixed or are you gonna leave them all as red links? I'm not sure if the wiki is supposed to fix them or what, but that is a shitload of links to have pointing at a "speedy" delete candidate. -Auron 11:51, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- I would have to concur, I suggest we leave the redirect. -- Wyn talk 11:57, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- I thought about that Auron, but I decided to put the tag there anyway to see what we wanted to do (ie. leave the redirect, delete it, do something else, etc.). -- Lacky 12:18, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Besides, it's not that many really. I'd be happy to fix the links up by myself if it was deleted. -- Lacky 12:19, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Not that many? It's over 200 I believe. I suggest that the redirect just remain. -- Wyn talk 12:21, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- By not many, I mean, I don't have to scroll down alot. =P -- Lacky 12:22, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Wiki software is stupid like this sometimes, so you have to make up for it when necessary. I think we should just leave the link, it's not hurting anything. If somebody really wants to get rid of it just have a bot fix it. –Jette 12:48, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
