Dye affects the shield's face. The iconography is unaffected. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

The Daedal Shield is probably named after Daedalus, the legendary Greek craftsman.

This shield has bad clipping issues on female and male monk characters, as the shield sinks into their left shoulders.
