Previously known as Cypress Hollow, the Lutgardis House decided to build its cathedral and homes here after the House founder, Lord Rolf Lutgardis, came to this spot seeking guidance from the gods. According to legend, Lord Lutgardis was deep in prayer when a tree, weighed down by its heavy petrified limbs, finally gave way and crashed to the forest floor. It missed Lord Lutgardis by mere inches and was immediately declared a sign from the gods that this was a blessed place to all members of House Lutgardis.–In-game description
