Luxon faction

Luxon faction shows how much work you have done for, and thus how popular you are with the Luxons. There are eight main ways to gain Luxon faction:
- Completing quests in the Jade Sea region of Cantha, where the Luxons live.
- Taking part in competitive missions.
- Playing in the Luxon challenge missions (Zos Shivros Channel and the Aurios Mines).
- Fighting in an Alliance battle.
- Obtaining Blessing of the Luxons from a Luxon Priest outside of most Cities / Outposts controlled by Luxon, and then killing mobs while in the explorable area the blessing was obtained. Price is 100
if you are Luxon, and 150 if you are Kurzick (50 for a bribe, 100 for the blessing), and the blessing will disappear if you change zones.
- Killing monsters in The Deep.
- Vanquishing explorable areas in the Jade Sea.
- Completing certain Zaishen Bounties or Zaishen Missions.
To finish the Protector of Cantha title, one must do both:
- Get 10,000 Luxon faction to complete Befriending the Luxons to open the Gyala Hatchery mission
- Get 10,000 Kurzick faction to complete Befriending the Kurzicks to open the The Eternal Grove mission.
Remember that spending points for one faction causes an equal number of points to be deducted from both factions, so you cannot save up points from both factions at the same time.

Luxon faction can be traded to a Luxon Scavenger for several things. Be aware that trading in Luxon faction will deduct up to an equal amount of unspent Kurzick faction. You may spend your Luxon faction on the following:

- You must be in a guild with allegiance to the Luxons in order to transfer faction in this manner. You also cannot have more Kurzick than Luxon faction or your allegiance will not be recognized.
- You must have at least rank 1 of Luxon Supporter and level 20 in order to exchange points for skills.

The faction cap is initially 10,000, and can be raised as high as 70,000 by completing various achievements.
