Notes[edit]
- Damage inflicted by this skill is considered holy damage.
- If the target takes more damage than the stated maximum, then the damage taken will be reduced by that maximum and the attacker will receive the same amount. For example, at 14 Smiting Prayers, a target with Reversal of Damage on them being struck by a Lightning Orb that would deal 100 damage would take 30 damage and the attacker would take 70.
- The damage for this reversal is calculated before other damage reduction. So, a 55 Monk using Protective Spirit and Reversal of Damage can deal more than five damage, with the remaining (above the stated maximum for this skill) damage being reduced by Protective Spirit.
- This skill will still prevent damage even if there is no foe to redirect damage to, for example when struck by environmental damage.
