User Seru fan userbox

Just curious but when did Eloc or Mira Lantis say it was ok for you to add this userbox to their pages? I see in the above Userboxes section Eloc is fine with you adding userboxes to his collection although I'm not sure he meant any one or not. It's just that it seems weird that you are saying they are fans of yours by adding it to their pages yourself rather than bringing it up on their talk pages as you did with Zerpha and then them adding it themselves if they want to. --Kakarot 01:38, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

I got some trouble with it in the earlier versions of the template. Then I found out it just works as Special:Prefixindex/Pagename instead of doing stuff like index.php?title=Special:Prefixindex&namespace=3... <HORSEDROWNER> 19:34, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Userboxes

Thanks for the userboxes - I found several to be of use to me and added them to my collection appropriately. One additional one I wanted to use, the Graphics one, wouldn't work for some reason. I edited in the information like the template says but it didn't change the text on the right side. Once I can get that one working, I plan to add that as well. Go ahead, that's not the issue. There is little to no chance, anyone but you is goign to spam it, and it will be easy to deal with when you do that. This how-ever is something lots of people will get their hands on and will have the opportunity to spam and use quite frequently. If it is directly before the first one (as in, you can't controll your character, it belongs to the same cinematic. If there are multiple cinematics though, you'd best label them as separate cinematics (like what I did over at Minister Cho's Estate (cinematics) —Why 19:22, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Do you have any idea that those messages are coming off as rude :/? The users that don't use userboxes "properly" are likely new wiki users, unsure about how templates work. User Categories

I have noticed that you have recently added Category:Users to user categories and sub-categories. I am not sure that is such a great idea. The reason for the categories in the first place is to be able to navigate through categories, to find users sharing similar interests and backgrounds. As it looks now, there is no hierarchical order and it is very hard to find what you are looking for. It is, frankly, quite the mess, with almost a hundred categories listed using no discernible ordering system, everything jumbled together with categories and sub-categories all listed on the front page. To add all users to the Category:Users is also not necessary, as there is already the "listuser" feature if you want to find all users. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I really don't think this new system is very user friendly.--Lensor (talk) 15:13, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, they asked you to "clean up the category tree", and it does not look particularly clean to me.. Maybe you (or they) misunderstood what they were going for? Because I can not imagine it was this mess. The way I understand that discussion, you were asked to make categories for your userboxes, categories that would fit under Category:Users. That does not mean that every single sub-category as well as all individual users have to be listed directly in Category:Users. Umm... I guess we had some miscommunication, I meant that the userbox categories should all be subbed to Category:Users because not all of them were.
