A battery is a party member whose role is to supply energy or adrenaline to the rest of the team.

In practice, this almost always means a Necromancer primary running Blood is Power (BiP) because of its superior utility compared to other options. To limit the impact of the sacrifice cost of BiP, the battery will often start off with low health and bring at least one health regeneration skill. A common tactic is to use BiP repeatedly for multiple deaths until the character has only a single health point from death penalty, thus mitigating all further sacrifice costs.

Available skills[edit]

  • Necromancer Blood is Power Blood is Power — the most efficient choice. Heroes will only cast this on casters or martial characters holding caster weapons (staff/wands).
