The page includes all of my other suggestions, including overlooked bug fixes.

Alliance Battles from GToB[edit]

Explanation: Currently guildless players on PvP characters can't get to alliance battles without a guest invite. Players who want to want to turn in and pick up the Zaishen Combat have to find roundabout means of getting back to the alliance battle outpost.

Bonus items[edit]

  • Add a dialogue box that appears when a player types /bonus or other Promotional weapon or Igneous Summoning Stone generation command instead of dropping all available items in that player's inventory. This window would contain all of those items that currently are dropped into the inventory, and could be be similar to a merchant window but without the sell tab and everything is free. Items available to buy (such as game of the year weapons) could also be shown to players who don't have them, but not allow them to create them, and display a button to allow the player to go to the Guild Wars In-Game Store to purchase them.
Explanation: This way players with a lot of items available don't need a lot of open inventory space or to have to delete all but the one(s) they want each time.

Dragon Arena Pre-match Timer[edit]

  • Reduce the pre-match wait in Dragon Arena from 60 seconds to 30 seconds like it is in other arenas.
Explanation: The wait to start each match in Dragon Arena is annoyingly long and inconsistent with that of other arenas.

Embark Beach[edit]

Explanation: Embark Beach's biggest annoyance is that it is too spread out and that it is too cluttered with NPCs. These changes help address both.
  • Remove the quest markers from appearing over all of the Zaishen Scouts.
Explanation: This will prevent players from thinking that every scout we see has a quest. Players who haven't been to a port town yet sometimes get tricked into traveling to Embark Beach and don't know how to get back. Many players find it annoying.
  • Allow players in Embark Beach to see, and request to join, party search in all locations that can be traveled to from Embark Beach. Players in those locations will not see Embark Beach party search but can accept requests to join from players there.
  • Add Challenge Mission locations to Travel NPCs.
Explanation: These changes will actually allow Embark Beach to be used for its original intended purpose.

Hero Formation[edit]

  • Add a simple 3 option control along with the "hero flag" section of the Compass which will set any heroes or henchmen with you to either stand close together, normal distance, or spread out.
Explanation: Heroes and henchmen are infamous for balling up and standing in area of effect attacks, straying too far and aggroing extra groups, and not staying in wards or area heals when you want them to. This simple solution would allow players to remedy all of those situations and more without even needing an AI update.

Imperial Faction Converters[edit]

  • Make an Imperial Faction Converter available to buy as a guild hall NPC.
Explanation: It's a pain having to go to a PvP outpost outside of the Battle Isles when you just want to spend your faction in the guild hall.

NPCs[edit]

Explanation: Inconsistent leftover from when this was a PvP outpost.
  • Improve NPC AI to avoid standing next to allies under the effects of Panic.
Explanation: AI scatters from AoE DoT damage but not AoE DoT interrupts.
  • Improve NPC AI in PvP to respond more quickly to AoE.
Explanation: Unintelligent AI makes some things, such as shrine capping in Jade Quarry, very easy for players utilizing AoE.

PvP Rewards[edit]

Explanation: Tournament Reward Points (TRP) can only buy 3 things: Golden Flames of Balthazar, PvP rewards, and Zaishen Keys. ZKeys cost either 5 TRP, 5000 Balthazar Faction, 1Gold Zaishen Coin + 100Gold, which puts 1000 faction at approximately the same value as 1 TRP. Reducing the price makes purchasing Golden Flames much more reasonable.
  • Remove Krytan PvP reward copies of armors that are available as starter PvP armor.
Explanation: There's no reason to pay for something you can have for free, they're just cluttering up the list and disappointing any players who get them thinking that they're something different than what they've got.
Explanation: Ranger Sunspear armor and Ranger Istani armor are the only non-elite Fancy armors and appear to be so by mistake. No other class's Sunspear or Istani armor is Fancy, and Paragon and Dervish ones are even starter PvP armor. Ranger Elite Drakescale armor is the only prestige Prophecies armor available as a Basic PvP reward.

Tomes[edit]

  • Have the first skill available to learn selected when a skill tome is used.
  • Allow skills to be learned by double clicking them or pressing enter when one is selected in the tome window.
Explanation: These changes would allow players using a lot of tomes to do so much faster.

View Trades Automatically[edit]

  • Add an option to automatically view trades.
Explanation: Being able to skip one unnecessary click per trade could prevent wasted time, especially for players who trade frequently.

Drop Warning while Trading[edit]

  • Add a warning before dropping something on the ground during a trade rather than only when you've recently been in a trade.
Explanation: If you miss the box in the trade window while in an explorable area, the item that you are trying to offer is dropped on the ground.
