The Fortune Teller appears in several post-mission cut-scenes showing the major role she played in Shiro Tagachi's betrayal and murder of Emperor Angsiyan, by baiting Shiro's ambitions and foretelling that the Emperor had planned to kill him during the Harvest Ceremony.

In the Realm of Torment, it was revealed that the Fortune Teller is a demon in disguise who was tasked with corrupting Shiro and to bring chaos to Cantha. After she is defeated in her human form, she will respawn as the Demonic Fortune Teller.
