Aequitas Deis was formed May 26, 2005 by Necra Ordius Necrom with a group of real life friends. AD has since grown beyond this core group and to across North America and several Asian countries due to its dedicated members and the various friendships that have formed between the members.
AD's focus is on fun and engagement between members, as a result members are encouraged to create or join any groups for missions, quests or just plain hanging out. Also members are free to decide exactly how they would like to play the game. There is never pressure to dictate a member's playing time such as faction donation requirements.
AD has a dedicated website and is a hub of activity, ranging anywhere between discussion on Guild Wars topics, to arranging for in-game meetings, to life outside of the game. AD's website also spawned a number of Guild Wars related creations such as fan videos and our own Pink Tank Squad.
Pink Tank Squad
The Pink Tank Squad is AD's answer (via in-game fashion) to the ubiquitous and monotonous "wammo" phenomenon where everyone looks the same and uses the same skills. By adopting the colour pink for a "strong and masculine" profession such as warrior, AD members make the statement of creativity, confidence and diversity. Of course, looking good and fashionable is a big bonus.
In the same vein, we also have members adopting neon yellow for assassins (the opposite of being "stealthy").
Activities
1. Regular events - AD regularly arranges PvE adventures 2 to 3 times a week for guild and alliance members looking to play in a variety of high-level dungeons. Examples include: - Tomb of the Primeval Kings, Sorrow's Furnace, Sunjiang District, Fissure of Woe, Underworld, The Deep
2. AD has a number of Alliance Battle addicts, and it is also our second most popular activity
3. Special events - Treasure hunt such as the highly competitive "The Amazing Race meets Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" - We enjoy out-of-the-blue dance parties as well!
