Order of The Golden Spear supports many different types of gameplay typically classified as PvX, in-guild experience of members varies, as some individuals have been playing for a long time while others have just started. We all enjoy helping eachother with missions and quests from all the Guild Wars campaigns- most Officers have all three games. We are a Kurzick Alliance leader with a high number of Kurzick factions points. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to join [TgS]. Philosophy
Order Of The Golden Spear is a guild who's sole purpose is the enjoyment and satisfaction of its members!
Guild Rules
[TgS] only requires a handful of rules to be followed by its members. They are as follows:
- Be Respectful.
- This simply means being courteous and polite towards guildmates and other guilds in our alliance. Spamming is prohibited.
- Be Active.
- We value players that take the time to play and socialize with the guild. While we certainly appreciate the stresses faced by everyone in "Real Life", members should try log on at least 3 times a week. Extended absences without prior notice or explanation can result in termination at the discression of the Council.
- Have Fun.
- We encourage all members to enjoy their time with the guild and to participate with other guildmates in activities. We strive to provide a fun and relaxing environment for everyone to enjoy, if that is not the case, let an Officer know!
History
Order Of The Golden Spear was formed in late 2007, but the current incarnation has its origins in March 2008. Founded by Double Helix Prime, [TgS] was built through aggressive recruiting of players of all walks of life, professions, and skill levels. Since those early days [TgS] has grown from only a handful of members to a guild of over 35 players, spanning all three campaigns and EOTN. In the past, [TgS] had been a member of the Viper's Crypt alliance, and contributed significantly to the Kurzick Faction during this time. We later left this alliance, and are currently the leader of our own Kurzick Alliance with over 400000 faction already accumulated. In the first weeks of the guild, PvX opportunities with guild members were not particularly strong, however the current landscape for PvP and PvE has never been better, with daily AB matches, and extensive PvE expeditions a part of the guild's foundation. [TgS] has always resided in the guild hall on Warrior's Isle, creating an extravigant location which features a wide variety of NPC services, as well as access to PvP matches and guild socializing over the past few months. Order of the Golden Spear continues to grow both in membership and experience and looks forward a bright future.
Cape History
Order of the Golden Spear is currently sporting their second-generation cape, this section explores the history of the [TgS] cape.
Original
The original [TgS] cape was a simple design featuring the "Elegant Sword" emblem on a matte black background, and was designed by Double Helix Prime. This was the offical cape until April 2008, when it was replaced with the second generation cape.
Member of the Month
We will now be hosted a member of the month here on the website. The Lucky member will be based on faction donating, activity, recruiting, and helpfullness. It is possible to have 2 members, if they are both contributing, equally and helping out all the time.
This month's MEMBERS are: Double Helix Prime and SpeedYz. Due to they consecutive game beating, with Huragi warrior, devish pride, and imogen. And their consecutive donating and Ab playing
Second Generation
The current [TgS] cape builds off the original design, once again featuring the sword emblem, however this is complemented using a white flame on a blue background, and appears more metallic. This version was designed by D E R V I S H Pride and became the official cape in April 2008.
Future
Order Of The Golden Spear looks forward to increasing its membership, as well as new guilds in our alliance. We hope to expand into more PvP activities, like GvG, and to organize more events for our members that bring everyone together!

Recruitment
Order Of The Golden Spear is always recruting!
We are looking for a broad spectrum of players to join us, and take in all that [TgS] has to offer. Interested individuals should be active, logging on at least 3 times a week, as well as being kind and courteous to other guild and alliance members. Both PvP and PvE members are welcome, as most members currently partake in both activities. Ideally, prospective members would be willing to participate in Alliance Battles and other PvP activities, as well as PvE excursions such as missions and dungeons with the guild. Hall
The Guild Hall of [TgS] is found on Warrior's Isle and features an almost full set of NPC services, as seen in the table below. The guild hall is a meeting and trading space for guild members, as well as a staging area for AB excursions and GvG. Enjoy the services within the walls, or take a leisurely stroll to the dockyard, its all at your fingertips on Warrior's Isle.

Website
Zomby Kilr is currently developing the offical [TgS] website which will serve to supplement information found here, and allow for further functionality. It can be found at http://www.freewebs.com/oftgs/.
Forums
Forums are currently in the planning and testing stages, and are not yet actively used by members of [TgS].
Alliance
Order of the Golden Spear is the leader of a small Kurzick alliance, which is looking for committed guilds to join them! Current membership includes the guilds Bizniz Time, The Knights of The Three Lands, and The Assassins Order. Interested guilds can contact any of the Officers, or Leader of [TgS] for more information on the alliance.
Faction
As mentioned above, Order of the Golden Spear Alliance supports the Kurzick faction, and participates frequently in faction events such as Alliance Battles. Inter-guild teams of four are not uncommon when laying waste to the Luxons, and offers a great opportunity to get to know alliance members better. All alliance guilds are expected to contribute faction to the alliance on a regular basis, with the intention of increasing faction as opposed to remaining stable.
VOIP
In order to communicate more effectively in AB and PvE, as well as allowing easier socializing, [TgS] has a 30 person Team Speak server which is available to all members of the guild and alliance. Officers can assist new members to configure the TS client and connect to the Golden Spear server.
