The Following Of Xanthar [FoX]
FoX formed in March of 2006. 6 core members formed the heart of the guild, and we have recruited some very friendly members along the way. Our members are primarily located in the United States or Canada, but International players are welcome. Our guild is friendly, active, and have a fun sense of humor.
FoX lives at Hunter's Isle, and has every guild hall service unlocked. Meetings are held in the charming little fountain area. The guild is aligned with the Kurzicks, and is now partnered with the Whats Prot Spirit alliance. FoX members enjoy both PvE and PvP, although most of our PvP is Jade Quarry, Fort Aspenwood, Alliance Battles, and Hero's Ascent.
Along with the alliance, we have events, such as vanquishing, UW, FoW, dungeons, etc.
Recruitment
In FoX, we prefer to recruit players who we have a good feeling will be likely to form a bond with other players in the guild. We believe that a pleasant guild is not in high numbers, but in the sense of belonging within the membership.
If you join FoX, we don't expect you to be prim and proper all the time, but we do ask that you keep vulgarities, hate-related behavior, sexist remarks, swearing and other profanities tucked neatly into your own personal thoughts, instead of on our screen. This includes character name as well. We don't want to see unpleasant and otherwise offensive things in guild, team, or alliance chat. We expect our players to be respectful of others.
We do have a forum, which allows for players to bond and chit-chat offline. Members discuss anything they might want to plan for the guild, help they might need or offer, items they might be looking for, etc. If you get recruited, we will ask you to sign up to this forum, using your full IGN you were recruited as (or part thereof), so that we can associate any posts you might write to who you actually are in game.
