We stand together against the darkness.
Looking for information, are you? Some sort of ancient knowledge, buried deep within a ruin? Or a powerful secret, hidden within the library of a shadowy organization? Or perhaps the answer to a mystery is what you want? Then heed my words; seek out a member of the Wind Riders. They have traveled throughout the lands seeking out knowledge and information. They are led by a necromancer by the name of Jink Bonestealer, who is driven by a thirst for knowledge. They are a small organization, but be wary; the members are powerful, as they travel in the dark places where few others dare to go.
So if there is something you want to know, seek out the symbol of a silver scarab on a blue field. They do not always travel openly, for there are many who do not want their secrets known, but the right inquiry to the right person will gain you their aid in discovering the information you wish to know. Beware: their price may be steep, for they always ask for an equal share in the knowledge. So be prepared to pay, in some fashion or another.
And if you can't pay, perhaps you should considering joining. If you aren't afraid of the dark that is.
Out of Character
The Wind Riders were formed during the fourth Beta Weekend Event, February 19, 2005. The guild was named prior to the members encountering the creatures also known as Wind Rider, but has since adopted the Wind Rider minipet as the mascot of the guild.
We are not a particularly huge guild. The rules are simple.
- First and foremost, respect is required of all members to other members and alliance members.
- Second, you must be tolerant of roleplaying. The main focus is PvE, we ask that you be a little courteous and help anyone who might ask for it.
- Third and most important, communicate. If there's something wrong, let the leader or an officer know.
Basically, what we're looking for is common sense.
Guild chat is always considered OOC (out of character).

Recruitment
Recruitment is by referral only. You must meet with the leader or an officer both out of character and in character. We prefer at least a week to get to know prospective members. It is required for prospective members to fill out an application on the site (by clicking "Join Wind Riders" at the top of the page).
The guild is currently not recruiting actively.
Mature topics and language (i.e. profanity) will be encountered in guild chat and in RP. As such, we require members to be 18 or older, or to display a level of maturity capable of dealing with said topics.
