LordBiro[edit]
This request is for the reconfirmation of LordBiro (talk • contribs • logs • block log).
Created by LordBiro 22:20, 14 July 2009 (UTC).
Status[edit]
Successful. 17:04, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Candidate statement[edit]
We were discussing the process of reconfirmations two years ago today. Strange, that.
Plenty of people have made very persuasive arguments as to why demoting inactive sysops is unnecessary. I happen to agree with them. That said, I understand why some of you disagree. No hard feelings. I will continue to talk nonsense on my talk page regardless of the outcome.
Oh, and I still like muffins.

Support[edit]
- Support. There is no evidence that Archive 2 is no longer competent. 'Nuff said. Also, precedent and whatnot. IALM. *Defiant Elements* +talk 22:21, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. The father of all icons, demoted? I think not. Felix Omni 22:21, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Biro was entrusted with admin tools for good reason, and has not done a single thing to break nor even stretch that trust. That's really all that should need to be said, and if that's not good enough, I don't even know what this is about anymore. - Tanetris 22:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC) But down with muffins. - Tanetris 22:25, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. I like muffins too. --Lemming 22:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support Almond Poppyseed, anyone? --Riddle 22:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Been a sysop/bureaucrat for longer than most people have wiki'd. While he may not edit every day, I'm against him losing sysop tools when he still knows how to use them. -Auron 22:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support Still Useful. Dominator Matrix 22:27, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Lemon Poppyseed. mmmm.--Rein 22:53, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Similar to what I already said on Rainith's reconfirmation; but I want to add more. LordBiro is one of those people here on the wiki who did really great things. Without him a lot things we have on the wiki would simply not exist in the way we have them now; this includes not only the gorgeous icons we get from him and the following Tango revolution on the wiki, but also the whole infobox style for example was based on his first experiments. While he is not active as he was back then, and we cannot really demand that after all the time he spent with GWW and also Guild Wiki, he is still an important person and it's always nice to see him online here or on IRC to talk with him. And while not being that active in discussions or such, he is still very skilled in the whole wiki processes and always there when needed.
He was bureaucrat for multiple terms and a sysop for a long time now and he really never did anything that could be bad in any way. As such it would be a immense loss to lose this great person as a sysop and as a part of the admin team. poke | talk 22:30, 14 July 2009 (UTC) - Support Are you kidding me? This is LordBiro - the man invented bureaucracy. And administration. And wikis. --snograt 22:34, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Per muffins. (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 22:36, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support As per #1 - Bex 22:41, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support As per DE. I do love muffins. — Jon Lupen 22:43, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support per Defiant Elements. – Emmett 22:49, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. It's Biro. Lord Belar 23:13, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. He knows how to use the sysop tools better than many sysops and definitely better than the large majority of users. I see no point in removing such valuable asset from the wiki. Erasculio 23:17, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Trustworthy through time. --Aspectacle 23:48, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support I trust that Biro hasn't forgotten how to use sysop tools and if/when he returns he will review any policy changes that have occurred in his abscence. -- Wyn talk 00:17, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. As per many above. Oh, and muffins r0xx0rz. --★KOKUOU★ 00:22, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. As per Tanetris (except for the muffins bit) and Poke. I might not have been around when he was fully active but I don't see any reason to remove the sysop tools from him. --Kakarot 03:38, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support I see nothing that warrants reconfirmation. Also, om, muffins. - anja 06:39, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support I checked through Rainith's recent contributions and could not find any actions that I consider questionable as a sysop. As such I can see no reason for him not to retain the sysop tools. Misery 21:25, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support As above. -- Indochine talk 12:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support Although, eating muffins is still not what I expect of an admin. - helena 16:37, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Haha! :D LordBiro 16:48, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. The man promoted me. This is the least I can do to pay Baxter back. Vili 点 06:46, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

- Support. Per Tanetris. --Xeeron 00:01, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. IMO, nothing more need be said, except, where is the {{muffin}} symbol? --Rainith 01:59, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. muffins. Biro, otoh, hasn't done anything problematic that I can remember. I see two neutral votes in the oppose section, that's it? It's not just 'the good outweighs the bad', it is 'what bad?'. Backsword 17:32, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. I support this guy. I think he would do good as a Sysop. From what I had seen in the wiki that he has done. It has been for the good of the Guild Wars Wikipedia. -- Ariyen 16:22, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Per all of the above. -- Wandering Traveler 00:59, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Per muffin ^^ |Cyan LightLive!| 13:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Oppose[edit]
- Oppose. Regardless of his (distant) past actions, his recent contributions are of no great consequence to the wiki. There's no need for this user to have the tools at his disposal. --Freedom Bound 22:45, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. As per the RfR discussion.--Fighterdoken 08:04, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Neutral[edit]
- Neutral. Muffins Fail DrogoBoffin 22:23, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral. I didn't even know he was a sysop, so I guess I don't really care. ~Shard 22:27, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral. Right along with Shard. Never heard of this guy.-- anguard 23:02, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral. There is nothing to be gained by removing his sysop tools; there is nothing to be gained by letting him keep them. Mini Me 23:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral Another sysop from 'the day', personally never heard of you, your logs suggest you are largely inactive, yet you don't abuse your sysop tools (which seems to be the grounds for keeping Sysops). ~~000.00.00.00~~ 07:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Neutral I don't think that I have see you around before...in-active? -- Lacky 01:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
