- Hero AI will only cast this weapon on characters wielding martial weapons.

Notes[edit]
- The amount of life stolen is not affected by the amount of damage you would have dealt.
- As a result, consider using this skill on allies that deal the least amount of attack damage if you want to minimize Nightmare Weapon's damage reduction.
- Every hit is counted, but misses are not. For example, if a Barrage attack successfully strikes two foes, but misses four others, Nightmare Weapon would only lose two charges.
- Consider using with Dual Shot (commonly used in conjunction with Distracting Shot) and particularly Triple Shot for a spike.
