- This boss can appear in any of the four possible spawn locations, which he shares with Nayl Klaw Tuthan and Rwek Khawl Mawl.
- Does not always spawn, if he is not at the four locations above, rezone and try again.
- Immediately upon zoning into Perdition Rock, you can turn left and check one of his spawn locations without having to fight anything. You can keep rezoning until he does show up.
- In hard mode, without some form of dedicated interrupt, this boss can be very difficult to defeat, especially with the Hydras that it is grouped with. A Wurm may also spawn in this area and make the battle even harder.
- This boss attacks with a hammer, even though its profession is Monk.
