She speaks too fast for me to understand-- and only in her native Canthan tongue-- but somehow, that bird of hers always knows exactly what she's saying. And he tells me in what is simply the most acerbic tone he can possibly can each time he translates for me. Simply put, it is like living in some sort of warped reality where only the animals talk and where the humans are there solely for their amusement. And Ayame, to them, with that ridiculously oversized weapon of hers, is a supreme amusement. How a girl of her size and stature can wield that thing is simply beyond me. That being said, though, the girl is deadly accurate with that thing.
I should know-- I have the holes in my shirt (with nary a scratch on my skin) to prove it.
