From the Journals of Darrin Trailsong, M.Bd.
I met young Kuroi Seishou during my first Canthan tour, in the Tahnnakai Temple, where she served the spirits of heroes past as an interpreter and guide-- an intermediary between those granted visitation to the holy shrines and those long departed from this world. Lady Seishou described herself in depth as a spiritdancer from her youngest memories, a girl for whom the veil separating the world of the living from the world of the dead was well nigh nonexistent. It was that which got her recognized by the monks of the Shing Jea Monastery and accepted into their service and order-- and due to the events of Shiro's Return, it was that same ability that brought her to the attentions of Master Togo, her direct mentor until the time of his death. Even now, interred in Tahnnakai himself, he teaches her still-- for even the spiritdancer, hailed herself as a true heroine of Cantha, claims to have much to learn. |
