Avatar of Moa was born Sarah Jabdulo daughter of Ohapeh Jabdulo and Turissa Jabdulo, wealthy merchants in Vabbi. Her parents expected her to grow up and take over their monopoly on trade in The Kodash Bazaar when they grew to old to continue the buissness. While Sarah knew she could become a merchant and grow to be rich and prosperous, that was not what she wanted. Sarah wanted to go outside the walls of the Bazaar and fight with the fabled Order of the Sunspears. One night once her parents were asleep Sareh tried to sneak out to Vehtendi Valley however Answa, one of Sarah's friends tried to stop her. Answa said that she wanted to come too so she could be a Sunspear, and if Sarah didn't take her to Istan then she would go wake up the guards. Sarah saw no choice but to take Answa with her so they traveled down Vehtendi Valley to the Elon River where they convinced a fisherman who was going to Kourna to sell his fish to take them with him. After the fisherman dropped them off at Gandara, the Moon Fortress they talked a group of Kournan military to take them to Kamadan with them. After the long journey they finally reached Kamadan where Sarah took the nickname Avatar of Moa so her parents could not find her. Answa outgrew her childish idea of fighting monsters and became a wealthy merchant in Kamadan. However Avatar of Moa followed her dream and became a member of the Sunspears when she agreed to help Kormir defend Chahbek Village from Corsairs.
