I got hit with a nearly ban once for asking for my thread to be closed the wrong way (same thing you did actually) :( - said I was going to be banned, but I wasn't in the end. That being said, you could always try using the guru auctions - I've had more success selling things quickly there than on the forums. Wyn also administers the auctions, however bannings there are more cut and clear - generally you're either definitely up to no good or you're there to use the system as is intended, so I don't think you'd have too many issues. Of course, ANet could always put in a better selling system for GW1 so we're not stuck with spamadan but that's almost like saying pigs can fly. Jennalee 02:58, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

The fact that the mods think a post saying "item sold" counts as bumping is the issue, Slayer. Making sure admins can think is a huge deal on this wiki - it's probably the biggest hurdle to overcome on a RfA. To explain why I'm trying to redirect traffic off Linsey's journal page, now that her talk page is locked (due to it's sheer size), people will try to get their "urgent" messages to her via her journal page. We've been through this before. The simple fact is, her talk page has gotten so large because she just doesn't have time to answer stuff because she's swamped trying to get Halloween done, working out the Test Krewe stuff, Sealed Deck, and the next skill update. I am just trying to keep off topic stuff off of her journal page, so that just MAYBE we won't end up having to lock her journal talk page as well. This is not an attempt to "protect her" or "kiss her butt" just basic common sense. Danny, what I mean is that players are commonly not informed or misinformed on things that have ALREADY been stated. Not things that haven't. For example, I constantly run into people that have no idea that HB & TA are being removed. Now, I don't expect them to tell those people when. However, I would like it if they actually knew what has already been officially stated and known by anyone who trolls the RC here or can wade through the shit that is most of the forums.
