Graven Monoliths are constructs that lurk in places desecrated by margonites. They are the only members of the monolith family, excluding the Apocrypha.

• In their tablet form, they appear to be immobile. In this form, they will activate Reform Carvings immediately after aggroing. Reform Carvings will cause them to revert to the tablet form before assuming a new form.
• Their favorite form is Mesmer. They will turn into this form anytime they are attacked alone.
• They will turn into Dervishes when they are low on health.
• They will turn into Paragons when they are within earshot of some other Allies.

Bug.

Graven Monoliths sometimes get stuck in tablet form and stop doing any actions.

• Their Mesmer form resembles a naga.
• The Apocrypha, found in Jokanur Diggings looks exactly the same.
• In Dervish form they move like drakes.
• While in Paragon form they look simillar to the ancient kraken Zhu Hanuku.
• Their dying animation will be one of the forms they had before first using Reform Carvings.
• On occasion you may see a graven monolith wielding an Aureate Aegis.
• The Graven Monolith is one of very few NPCs that actually possess skills from three different professions.
