- Because this is not a spell this will not count for the 10 spell count in Glyph of Elemental Power, but will still get the stat boost.
- Good synergy with skills that require a foe to be knocked down, like Aftershock, Falling Spider and Awe.
- Often used by melee professions to get an almost guaranteed knockdown.
