An ancient ghost recounted a haunting tale of piracy and betrayal. Following her defeat during the Second Great Corsair War, the corsair leader Lady Glaive sailed the tattered remnants of her fleet north to the Tarnished Coast. There, she parlayed a deal with King Zoran of Orr, father to King Reza, to gain amnesty for her forces within the caverns we now call the Shards of Orr. Unbeknownst to Lady Glaive, one of her own lieutenants, a young corsair named Fendi, made his own deal with the king's adviser. Fendi betrayed his leader and his crew. Glaive escaped, but most of the crew were slain. Their spirits remain enslaved by the betrayals of the past. Soon afterward, the dark pact Fendi made with the adviser showed its true nature. Fendi joined the ranks of the undead, forced for all eternity to draw his power from the souls of those trapped with him.

  • In Normal Mode, beating this dungeon for the first time awards the player 3,000 Asuran points, even if you have achieved rank 8. Each successive completion awards 1,500 Asuran points, provided that you are not yet rank 8.
  • In Hard Mode, the reward is 4,500 Asuran points for the first completion, and 2,250 points for completing it thereafter.
  • You must have the quest Lost Souls from Crewmember Shandra just outside Shards Of Orr in Arbor Bay in order to be able to get the key so you can open the 1st level door. The quest is completed as you complete the dungeon.
  • To beat the dungeon you have to kill Soul of Fendi Nin.
  • Due to the large amount of undead NPCs, holy damage is highly effective.
  • To the southeast, on Level one, there is a gate which can only be opened by Crewmember Shandra, who is initially at the western entrance. Entering from Gadd's Encampment allows you to bypass Arbor Bay, though you will still need to get Crewmember Shandra to open the gate.
  • On level two, after lighting all the braziers in the Graveyard, (a torch is found in the chest available after killing the Cursed Brigand just to the left of the entrance), a mob of Crypt Wraiths, Phantoms, Enchanted Axes and Enchanted Swords will spawn in the area. The exit door will NOT open until all of the foes have been killed. The braziers are sited close to the outside walls of the Graveyard, so they're not hard to find.
  • On level three, lighting all the braziers (including those necessary to obtain the Dungeon Key) allows access to another area (south of the stairs down from level 2) that is likely to contain a Locked Chest and possibly several secrets to be revealed by Light of Deldrimor.
  • There are many groups on the 3rd level that you can avoid attacking altogether and there are large enough spaces to run around them without aggro to light the braziers, so you won't have to fight unnecessarily. If you do choose to run the braziers instead of killing foes to get to the unlit braziers make sure you have a run skill that increases speed by at least 33% otherwise your lit torch will not stay lit long enough to reach the braziers.
Sometimes, Fendi Nin may not spawn. This is a rare glitch in the game. There is no way to fix it, other than to start the dungeon over.
Sometimes, after Fendi's Chest spawns, Fendi Nin and a contingent of Skeletal Archers may spawn once more.
