- Start by casting Frozen Soil, so as to insure that your sacrifice will not be undone by some thoughtless idiot.
- Cast Death Nova on yourself to rid yourself of the poison of others when you transcend.
- Cast Dark Aura, so as to further the darkness of your sacrifice.
- Cast Awaken the Blood, so as to make sure you can find a vein.
- Cast Blood is Power twice to make your transcendence complete.
