Urgoz[edit]

Oh my. No need for Consume corpse? :) File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpgChieftain Alex 19:23, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

:D ~ Matthew Moore 19:28, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
My source in JQ says the costumes aren't up yet? File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpgChieftain Alex 19:29, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Now all we need is an Archtiect Summoning Stone, capable of building barriers to block foes (skills include 2 summons, spirit wall and Body Block) 188.222.77.162 19:30, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Should be noon (PST). ~ Matthew Moore 19:31, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Just checked no costumes available yet. Da Mystic Reaper 19:34, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Ask one of them architects to get some fledgling blood drinkers while they're down there. I want a bat mini. :3 –Jette 19:45, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

"facilitate exploration without teleportation."[edit]

Does this mean you can access Urgoz without a scroll or owning the town? If so, why not The Deep as well? ~FarloUser Farlo Triad.pngTalk 19:54, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Pretty sure they're referring to the gate lever than requires CC or necrotic traversal to access. You can't progress unless you get up there. The Deep has a similar obstruction in the form of that bloody gate in the second main chamber, but there's no impediment to completing the dungeon with, say, all heroes if you have mad micro skills and something to hold one down, like a ranger ritual. –Jette 19:59, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Yup, I didn't read the other comments, not that familiar with Urgoz either >.< ~FarloUser Farlo Triad.pngTalk 20:01, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
does this mean the ramp is now in place, or soon will be? Spark-TBa on phone. 178.102.53.238 06:00, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Jette is correct, you still need the scroll or town ownership to explore Urgoz. The teleportation reference is about a particular door that you could not open unless a member of the party could teleport to the switch. The ramp removes the requirement for a teleportation skill. NOTE: It was always possible for a member of the party to die under the (otherwise inaccessible) bridge near the switch and be Rebirthed, appearing on the bridge to gain access to the switch. Information on the efficacy of Unyeilding Aura or Resurrect Scrolls is not available (to me).

Pantheon pack[edit]

Won't let me buy it 'cause I have 1 or 2 of the costumes already?? RAAAAAAGE @_@ lol Just curious...how much does it cost? Can't see since all it says is already purchased... 95.83.199.222 20:34, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

^ was me, guess I've not edited in so long that my login died. PalkiaX50 20:37, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
$29.99 according to the website.--User Pyron Sy sig.png Pyron Sy 20:37, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
$9.99 each or the special offer of $9.99 for both. -- Magic User Magic Icon.jpg Talk 20:41, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Thats for the new costumes, the Pantheon pack is £14.99 ($29.99) Simooshy 20:44, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

So Lyssa and Kormir taking sides now?[edit]

And if so who's on which side? Ramei Arashi 20:55, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

It really doesn't matter, Kormir's team has terrible aim. - Infinite - talk 20:57, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
No, Kormirs side can beat Lyssas blindfolded. Simooshy 20:58, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Kormir's can't see, and Lyssa's see too much. I'd say that's pretty evenly matched. XD Derikvyreflame 20:59, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Kormir doesn't need to see, she already knows everything. Knowledge leads to victory, some Sun Tzu guy used to say. And I don't think Lyssa cares much about battles, anyways. She's more about parties and arts and such. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 00:19, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Isn't it a bit of a spoiler for new players? 79.76.254.157 01:44, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Lyssa will win, Kormir will take credit. Bramblefeet 02:16, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

3 updates in one day?[edit]

What are the other 2? I'm guessing second was costumes since the add didn't show up until after it but what was third? Ramei Arashi 21:33, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

2nd one wasnt costumes, I got the costumes a few min before the 2nd update. Obby Armor is Ugly PERIOD!Why? Ask me on my talk page =Pantil Swift 21:36, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Third seems to be shop support to show the costume image for the shop link.Yumiko ^,~ 21:42, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Update #2 Notes[edit]

I am sure there was an update #2 and maybe a #3, but where are the notes? someone knows anything of what was changed? User Kyx signature Skull.gifKyx 21:43, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Probably just bug fixes.--User Pyron Sy sig.png Pyron Sy 21:44, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Update #4[edit]

Fingers crossed, this is the last one today. ~ Matthew Moore 02:14, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

My computer refuses to let Guild Wars install this update for some reason. I just bought the Pantheon Pack from the In-Game Store (which this update affects) so maybe that has something to do with it? Anybody else have this problem? 99.91.11.12 03:09, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Same here. It crashes upon "finishing" the update loading, but whenever I restart it, I have to re-download the update files. I didn't log in today yet, so it's not tied to purchasing the Pantheon Pack. Konig/talk 03:11, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
I had this problem too, did a hard restart of my computer then ran GW and it worked fine. Aswed 03:18, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Grench activity[edit]

So...why would they remove the grench activity? it was fun to run the prez's to the kids under Sugar Rush  :-( (Usaf1a8xx 04:50, 16 December 2011 (UTC))

Well, usually it starts later in Wintersday. Maybe they had to remove the ones from last year or something? Seems like an odd note tbh. Konig/talk 04:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Operation: Crush Spirits[edit]

Myself and others have been unable to pickup the Operation: Crush Spirits quest. The Priest of Balthazar just zones me to another area, but never gives me a quest. Hoping this will be fixed in an upcoming build. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.236.251.137 (talk).

It was removed, so it's not needing a fix. Konig/talk 05:38, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Why was this quest taken out and not Fighting in a Winter Wonderland? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 09:16, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Probably because it is Balthazar linked to PvP, and not Melandru. Konig/talk 12:23, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
I don't quite follow... They got rid of this quest because it was linked to Balthazar? Could you please explain? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 20:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Operation: Crush Spirits was practically identical to Fighting in a Winter Wonderland (which is still available) so they got rid of it and replaced it with The Great Snowball Fight of the Gods (PvP), a new 4-man PvP arena. --Combatter 00:43, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

Update[edit]

So along with the costumes, two new/modified maps, and another flux, it looks like this update also already added this years hats; think winter accessories. Probably will do a preview later. MadMaxx 07:22, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

So I finally get my snow-globe hat? Konig/talk 07:50, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
The german wiki had already revealed the new [hats]. One little red hood and not one, not two, but THREE scarf.... we just can't get enough of those scarf, hun? Definitley a major decline in quality compared to the last year's hats; I prefer quality over quantity. User Kyx signature Skull.gifKyx 23:01, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
