The Knights Hospitalier [kH] operates as a centralized acquisition guild within the Coven Of The Red Iris Alliance. Responsibilities of this guild include acquiring specialized personnel, services and equipment to support various alliance efforts.
Along with these responsibilities, [kH] members have been known to cause various disruptions throughout the alliance as well as in popular districts of various outposts. Such disruptions include orchestrating the demise of three alliances that it played a crucial role in growing exclusively for the purpose of collapsing said alliances.
Two members of [kH], Hanna of Ascalon and Lark De Templar, received Emmy's in 2008 for a staged fight acted out while standing on Dwanya's rings in Lions Arch D23 during Wintersday. Neither member is reported as having said, "I'm going to Disney!" upon receiving their Emmy.
The Knights Hospitalier was originally founded as the militant wing of the World Bank. With it's initial goal set as protecting travelers on an exodus to Kryta from Ascalon in 2005, [kH] members later served as mercenaries under UN directive assisting the Sunspears with their bounties on plants and bugs in Istan.
Prior to the current downturn in the global economy, the [kH] made significant profits in selling captured Luxon guilds to Kurzicks and captured Kurzick guilds to Luxons, taking advantage in material price trends such as Ecto and Obsidian Shards and selling unregistered weapons to whoever had the gold for them.
These days, the [kH] has moved into fast food franchises and junk bonds to keep gold flowing into the alliance. While previous slave trading efforts were perhaps more profitable, the Canthan population has been decimated too much due to a combination of immigration to Elona and Tyria and the wholesale slaughter of fighters in Alliance battles.

Vandalism, per Mary Dread
- A guild is infinitely more complicated than its alliance.
- It looks like Di**y **** managed to get herself infected with a virus. She's spamming every email address in her address book.
- Fish don't fry in the kitchen; Beans don't burn on the grill.
