The Stygian Veil is a section of the Domain of Anguish. It is a land covered by strong malignant forces that turned it into one of many corrupted shards of existence and, in turn, a demonic breeding ground within the Mists. It is also the strongest and most prolific such breeding grounds known to the Forgotten. It is lorded over by the Dreadspawn Maw which has seemingly become part of the land itself, and is guarded by the half-formed demons known as Stygians.
