The following pets have been tested and provide only the generic monument:

Random

I'm a little confused regarding the "elite pets" getting a second monument. I have my level 20 imperial phoenix and cannot get a phoenix statue - I do, however, have the generic animal companion statue...any thoughts? So, only three pets available to show off? So now Anet decides which pets I should think are worthy to show? I'm not proud of my pet cause it was hard to get, I'm proud of it cause I think it fits my character very well. It's up to me to show it off even if it's easy to charm, right? - talk helena 19:32, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Here, here. I've had my pet moa (or strider as it was called then) since pre-Searing. In game, that's 8 years of companionship. I'd say that's what "fellowship" is all about. --Heelz 03:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Any pet should be enterable. I love my new eagle to bits and I wouldn't dream of changing it out for a crappy phoenix again, but apparently it's not worthy to be entered into my hall with it's own statue - just a terrible generic one! I demand the right for every pet to have an individual statue, not just 3. Andrik Of Ascalon 14:53, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. I've had my dune lizard for two years, but apparently only spiders, black moas, and phoenixes are leet enough to be registered. What's worse is that those three monuments will likely give a bonus in GW2, so to get them I'll have to delete my current pet on each character, catch and release one of each of the three "elite" pets, and then replace and relevel my original pet. It would've been more fair if they had just had the default "Animal Companion" monument for everyone, though ideally I would like to have a monument corresponding to your pet's species. 68.186.242.223 21:53, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Also Agreed Helena. I have had my wolfey since PRE searing, lvl'd him by a shrine for hours. I VERY reluctantly gave him up to get a Black Moa for the Monument. And now I have a Raven that's proving very difficult to evolve to the same stats. Yay.... -- RavenJWolfe User RavenJWolfe Icon4sig.png 14:27, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
It would be niiice if the HoM recognized elite pets captured on a hero. So you could keep your work or whatever, but still get the elite pet statue in the HoM. Alaris 14:57, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I have a non evolved, but not "death leveled" Imperial Phoenix and it is shown as a generic animal statue as well...*sigh* Gorani 18:40, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
If at least they would add WHAT pet one has, the generic statue is too bland... Cp 17:14, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh gosh, it was a long time since I added that comment, do I have a phoenix? Where? Anyways, it seems that I actually had the Imperail Pheonix but STILL got the generic statue? Do you have to evolve your pet in a certain way? Or can you only get one elite statue OR the generic statue? I can't say what my case was, as I have no idea what I was babbling about. - talk helena 07:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Well as far as i know it only needs to be lvl 20 and had its second evolution eg dire, elder and hearty because i death lvled my phoenix twice but it didnt evolve and coulnt be entered but the third time i tryed i had connection issues and disconected just before lvl 20 but as i reconected it it came out as dire ^ ^ and then i could place it in my hall and thats as far as i know but on the other subject of statues of other pets i completely agree but i think i was lucky as my favorate pet was my black moa anyway ^ ^ --Azreal of Skyrim 18:06, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

I found the "pet must be evolved" notation more confusing than helpful, because it seemed to say that only Tier 7 pets could be added. However, I was able to add both a Tier 6 black moa and a Tier 6 black widow without any trouble. (Both charmed at menagerie after having been acquired by heroes.) 67.80.218.108 12:08, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
I believe that I agree with you. Hope someone can fix the notation. Rodan (talk) 22:02, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Fixed. It was just a matter of clicking the link from "evolved" and scroll up at Animal_companion#Zaishen_Menagerie_Grounds. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.png¥oshida Keiji(talk) 12:50, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Pets?

I am a little confused. It says you can only display one animal companion, yet there are special ones for the phoenix, moa, and spider. can you onnly display one of those three or all three of them? In addition there is the animal companion statue, what does that display? your favorite level 20 pet? or something else generic? Thanks--Vhalantru 04:18, 3 September 2007 (UTC) (resigned, i posted it originally)

It appears to be that except for "elite pets", all the others have been grouped into a generic statue of several animals for the companion statue, the elite pets such as spider look like they should tho...i imagine anet wanted to cut down on how many unlockables they had. Was wondering tho, is the Rainbow Pheonix concidered elite? Am testing that now but haven't confirmed yet whether it has it's own statue or is concidered generic.
I've tested it, the Rainbow Phoenix can be recorded. But it falls into the generic category. -Immortius 08:37, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I've tried to clarify the article (I also found it confusing), but if I've interpreted things wrong please correct it. :) -Immortius 08:55, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
about the elite pets though, can I only have one elite pet monument? or can my character have one of each? --Vhalantru 04:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Characters CAN have one of every monument, all heroes and all four pet monuments.--Flycken 16:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Needs to be updated with the moss spider now to see if its one of the rare ones or a common Chaos Beserker 15:15, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Heroes

I actually had heroes with the upgraded armor so I was able to add most heroes except 3 or 4. I found it kind of annoying that the only way to change the statues was just one button that "rearranges" the statues. I didn't examine it much, but it looked like it cycled through some pattern, but I don't think it iterates every possible arrangement. If it did, it would take a long time to get the arrangement you want. I have two ideas:

  1. It would have been neat if you could add any hero you had and display them in their beginning armor. If you had them upgraded, the statue armor would also be upgraded with the new armor. If you had the complete set then maybe it would have some additional displayable bonus effect.
  2. If I had to accept how the current monument is implemented, then I would have liked the ability to pick the 5 I want displayed and their ordering. Tedium 20:51, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

So only a total of five may displayed within the HOM then ?

That's what I'm wondering as well. Five heroes + two pet statues (general and elite)? Or five statues in total? Or what? Does anyone know? - talk helena 06:40, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
5 statues in total. If you have a pet statue then you can only add 4 hero statues. --- Warrior Raptors

I don't mind the fact so much that you have to have upgraded armor to display Heros. Except, I would like to see the Armor that my heros have. Such as, If my Jora has Brotherhood upgraded Armor, then her statue should depict that shes wearing that armor and not the Default. Somewhat the same as everyone wanting their personal Armor to reflect what they were wearing and what they looked like to be more personal. (Which was implemented per community request.) I feel that if the Hero wears the armor that you spent the time to "win" for him/her, then it would feel way more personal. (Instead I feel like I have this monument that says: "Ok, here's the heros that I have. They don't look like mine, but I assure you, they are supposed to be them. No... really") -- RavenJWolfe User RavenJWolfe Icon4sig.png 14:19, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

One thing I have to say is I am still disappointed in the bronze statues instead of the actual heros being seen like the Resilience shrine. Also I hate the preset order to the heros placement, it makes it so I can't view the heros I want to view. What I'd love to see...revamp of the shrine so that heros appeared in their upgraded armor but not as statues, rather like the Resilience shrine, with the ability to chose a spot for each hero as desired. After all, no one playing the game really went through the trouble of upgrading armors just because they wanted to see a dull bronze statue with default armor. WolfMoonstar 4:10, 16 August 2008

Rearranging

Atm this feature sucks. It has a very limited selection of combinations and each of them includes a crappy looking statue for me. :( Manual sorting please? -- Gem (gem / talk) 19:11, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Oooo yus. Me agrees with Gemmy. XD -- RavenJWolfe User RavenJWolfe Icon4sig.png 14:21, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Pig Pet

My character was created specifically to have a pig animal companion. "That'll do, pig, that'll do." I had so much fun playing the elementalist that I'd created just for a lark, compared to the monk/warrior/necromancer/mesmer that I'd previously tried that I just kept playing him. After I noticed the first titles and realized that I never wanted to do a whole ton of map exploring, rerereslaughting over every character, Farmer Hoggit pretty much became my only character. I keep a couple others around because I like the name and, someday, I might go back to them and I don't want the name to be taken. Now in GW2, I'll still be able to keep the names. But the main central point of my character is the pig animal companion. But I have some freaky bear/wolf statue thingy in my Hall. What's up with that? I can supply you with screenshots of the Warpig, Babe. He's half my character's size, bristling with pent up fury, etc. You already have the skin/wiremesh for him -- just change the color to gold and freeze him up there. Banaticus 10:00, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Pictures

Possible to get some screenshots of hero statues and animal companion statues for the article? FirstSunspear 09:30, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

I completed pictures of all the pet monuments, I'll let someone else do the work for the heroes though.--Flycken 17:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Added Jora, I'll add others if/when I get them. Larnu 17:30, 21 September 2007 (BST) Set your game to full screen and adjust your gamma. These screenshots are terrible, new to computers are we? I don't understand why the wiki fans love their screenshots of black...

Does that mean that I have general permission to add pictures of every hero in a lighter setting??? I have every hero and pet, so it should be no problem... -- Frozzen User_Frozzen_sig.PNG 22:09, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes, Please.

Death leveling = pet not eligible?

Someone put this in the article. Proof please. -- Gem (gem / talk) 15:48, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I added my animal companion statue with a death-leveled pet, so nope. --Valshia 17:24, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Anyone else can confirm? Because then it could be removed. Alaris 17:56, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
While there have been people claiming that death leveling a pet (certain methods of death leveling only) has proved to be ineffective in hall, specifically here at the " i have an elder black widow" portion, I'll go ahead and leave it as it stands for now until it's thoroughly tested.--Flycken 18:42, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Can you add pets captured by your heroes?

And if not, could that feature be added please? Alaris 17:56, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

You can't, I tested it. :) -- Gem (gem / talk) 18:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Fellowship : Heroes

All I would like to see changed about the Fellowship is that we should be able to chose which heroes to display. I would like to be able to chose which hero is in a certain spot (i think? this could be done easily in visuall basic or c++ programming) In addition I would love to see the heroes in the armor that has been upgraded (that might be an issue or server space). I know several people have commented on it, so I just wanted my 2 cents worth. I have one character with almost 90 percent of heroes upgraded.... hmm heres a thought.. Shrink them like the mini pet shrine to fit more heroes....

Problems with adding Phoenix to monument

As described in both wikis, you can add the Phoenix to this monument. I just managed to get my phoenix to lvl 20, but still can't add it to the monument. Another bug for the Hall of Monuments? Should we provide a bug warning? BigBlueMonk 20.pngtalk 16:54, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

You have already sent a support ticket to NCsoft support I assume? - anja talk 17:05, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Already done, Anja. But as seen in [1] I think we should really add a bug info message to this article. BigBlueMonk 20.pngtalk 18:08, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Seems like a well documented bug, put up the notice, imo. - anja talk 09:52, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

anyone know if they allready fixed this, I have the problem to but not ganne walk around with a phoenix till the end of time.--Elliot 15:18, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

No fix so far. I'm waiting to get rid of it, too. -.- BigBlueMonk 20.pngtalk 17:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

I was able to add my phoenix with no problem. I beleive the pet may need to be evolved Med Luvin 18:48, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

i had the same problem, so i mailed the support. they told me its not a bug, everything works as it should work. /doh. 84.146.148.79 14:38, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
k got rid of it and went on to take a spider that one got in there no problem at all, so went back to get a new phoenix this time I made sure it lvled up the normal way (no death lvl farming pet stuff or anything els that might effect pet evolved thing) and seems like thats the problem cous once it was lvl 20 I could add it to my monuments--Elliot 16:51, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
In order for a pet to be added, it must be level 20 and have "evolved" to either Hearty, Dire, Etc. I edited the article to reflect that. --Andrew Patrick 19:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
But not, it seems, if it somehow remains Aggressive at level 20. Any change you can fix that? It's bad enough having a pet stuck at Aggressive at level 20 without being unable to put it in the monument either...

I can't add my lvl 20 Hearty Rainbow Phoenix to the HoM... no idea why. Is there anything I can do? (My Fellowship-monument already has all heroes and the Jingle Bear in it.) Grown Up Gwen 00:33, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Ok, sorry. Figured it out. Both count as the "normal" Animal Companion and you can just add one of them ? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Grown Up Gwen (talk) at 00:37, 17 March 2012 (UTC).
You can only add one normal animal companion. Did you try adding the regular Phoenix? Rodan (talk) 22:02, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Split the page?

I think we should split the page. The tables with the statue images are taking too much space and could be put on a separate page. Another option would be to have very small 32 or 64 pixel high thumbnails in the tables. -- Gem (gem / talk) 09:49, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. Having added a couple of the statues I seem to have stretched the page unnecessarily a fair bit (apologies in advance being a wiki newbie). I'm thinking that having small thumbnail images would be the better choice for presentation purposes. Another thought on presentation, it might be a good idea to split the heroes up into different sections so it saves having to repeat the requirements over and over. The EotN heroes only have the brotherhood and Deldrimor pieces, whilst the Nightfall heroes will have sunspear, ancient or mysterious and primeval armor pieces. Splitting the section up into mini tables with different requirements like this hero armor one could help to clean it up a little. --Ember Silvermoon 12:12, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Actually we don't need to do anything like that. The whole requirement thing can be removed from the table and put something like this above it: "Requirements: A hero upgraded with Cloth of the Brotherhood, Deldrimor Armor Remnant, Ancient Armor Remnant, Stolen Sunspear Armor or Primeval Armor Remnant." -- Gem (gem / talk) 14:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
How about just "Requirement: A hero with one Hero Armor upgrade". The Hero Armor article already explains what heroes may be upgraded with which armor. Erasculio 14:29, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, better. -- Gem (gem / talk) 14:36, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. Nice idea Erasculio as it saves having to unnecessarily repeat those requirements. --Ember Silvermoon 22:57, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

If no one opposes within a day I will move on to replace the images with thumbnails and the table changes. -- Gem (gem / talk) 00:09, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

All heros

If someone has all the heros added could you plz put up a completed pic thx Seru 00:30, 23 September 2007 (UTC) I have all heros, but only 5 can be displayed at a time....unsure what sort of picture you are looking for. Med Luvin 18:50, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

I think he's looking for a picture of the each individual hero/pet that is currently not on the fellowship page... On that note, does anything special happen to the monument when you have placed all possible hero and pet statues into this monument? Frozzen 00:29, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I have Anton, which isn't listed. Should I post an upload here? 68.109.79.209 03:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

What are we missing? I have all of the heroes done and am working on pets. — Eloc 03:06, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Missing ones are located at the bottom of the chart I do believe. 68.109.79.209 08:24, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

I have now updated the table to include every hero. Only General Morgahn is missing an image now, since I don't have him upgraded yet. I also didn't update Zenmai, Goren or Norgu images since I don't have them upgraded either. The rest have the same style, comperssion and size now. I'll be getting the armor for the 4 heroes that I don't have today if I get the time to log in and play, so we'll have a full set of images with the same style in the evening. -- Gem (gem / talk) 10:28, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Got armor for all but Norgu. I'll finish him later on. -- Gem (gem / talk) 12:41, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Basic armor

Isn't it a bit weird that they require an upgraded armor to be in the monument and that they are finally displayed with their starter armor? Chriskang 14:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

The requirement is there because the hall is for achievements of the characters and aquiring the upgraded armors is an achievement of a sort. The reason why they are displayed with their regular armor is probably that they must only choose one armor which the statue shows regardles of the upgrades, and it's best to choose the armor that the hero always has instead of an upgrade that the player might not even have. -- Gem (gem / talk) 17:24, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Erm, well they could just make it to show what armor set the Hero has currently equipped, like the Resilience monument. -- Luigi Luigi shodansig.jpg (T/C) 01:03, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
It is much easier to do it with static monument that always is the same. Adding all 3 sets for all 25 heroes would take a lot of time, and Emily doesn't have that time to do them, just like she hasn't had time to revisit some of the other monumens which the players/she aren't happy with. -- Gem (gem / talk) 08:27, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Bug with Black Moa (or article error)?

This article says that the Animal Companion statue is only for "Any pet other than those listed below." When I had a Black Moa on my ele, I got both statues at the same time. Has it happened to anyone else? ~ User PaeSig.gif | Pae - Talk | 22:47, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Any pet gives the normal animal companion staute. The 3 special pets also give their own statue. So not a bug. -- Gem (gem / talk) 23:22, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I've changed the table to reflect this correction. Alaris 03:30, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Dam, I wish I knew that. I got a Black Wolf just for my main statue. I've been wasting all this time, oh well :P — Eloc 17:13, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Arrangement of Heroes/Pets

I am fairly sure that there is a preset order that the heroes are placed in... Can anyone confirm this? If so, I have a nearly complete list (only missing the Widow) of the arrangement. Frozzen 16:23, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

I think there's a preset order too because mine aren't set in the ordeer that I placed them in. — Eloc 16:25, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Someone posted the preset order somewhere long time ago. -- Gem (gem / talk) 16:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
But it seems to have disappeared and I think we should place it on the Fellowship page as it would be useful for people who are interested in displaying a certain combination of heroes, but already have some placed in. Frozzen 16:55, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
I made a post about statue arrangement with a partial list on Talk:Hall of Monuments/Archive2#How rearranging works a while back. --Valshia 17:43, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, that's the one. Thanks. :) -- Gem (gem / talk) 18:59, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
I finally completed the monument and here is the order that the heroes and pets go in (the order in which they cycle through the display is in the original post:

Zenmai, Norgu, Goren, Zhed Shadowhoof, General Morgahn, Margrid the Sly, Talkora, Razah, Master of Whispers, Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Acolyte Jin, Acolyte Sousuke, Vekk, Livia, Hayda, Ogden Stonehealer, Pyre Fierceshot, Jora, Kahmu, Xandra, Anton, Gwen, Olias, Black Moa, Black Widow Spider, Imperial Pheonix, Animal Companion. Any suggestions as to if this should be displayed on this page and if so, in what format? -- Frozzen User_Frozzen_sig.PNG 03:12, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

I would put it under notes, in something like "the default order of a full fellowship monument is "x"" with x being what you wrote above.--Ryudo 03:29, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Confused - Elite Pets

Suppose I decide to bring my black widow to this mounment and then I want to get some other elite pet, it'd mean I'd have to let go of my black widow to a pet tamer in order to capture some other pet just so I can get that elite pet's statue? Barinthus 09:11, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes. — Eloc 10:41, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

What we should be able to do is add our hero pets. we went through all that work to get them and level them up, and the only difference is that we didn't get rid of the pet we wanted to keep on our character. Farwind 20:53, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
