Simple Quest[edit]

simple quest, tho watch out for the patrols at the temple, and those pop up from the boss--BobbyT User Talk: BobbyT 02:45, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

I think I saw a skill called "sacrifice spawn" when my party lowered the final boss to around 20 percent health, I didn't catch what it did and a second later we were surrounded by mobs and wiped. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:72.68.192.59 (talk).
He spawns extra mobs at like 50% and 20% so u want to kill off the spawns first possibly to avoid being overwhelmedBurrTheKing 03:09, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
i just spiked him down when more kept summoning >.< --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.148.233.222 (talk) at 04:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC).
do these mobs ever end....? I also can't see where the henchies have infused armor for protection against Spectral Agony, as they seem to just get wiped instantly, and I also think the mobs should be adjusted somehow so they are not being obstructed from attacks when you kite/lure them onto the bridge entering the temple, as pulling the mobs is wise, but then they get obstructed while on bridge :( Oh, and the mobs do end after 2 hrs of just farming around the temple wiping all then coming back for a few spawns he does on ledge of temple. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.112.85.80 (talk) at 05:22, 18 June 2010 (UTC).
Just finished this with a friend, not too bad if you bring interrupts and Pain Inverter. Try to take out as many White Mantle as possible before engaging the boss, because they will run to you and can overwhelm you. Tender WolfUser Tender Wolf sig.png 04:57, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

I believe you get mobs from each side at regular intervals; they don't run out of enforcements. You need to be able take them on; recharge and take on the boss before they come in. I would note however that it is posslbe to pull and kill all the mobs at the boss seperately; then you just have to deal with the incoming mob; then take the boss with just a short period of recharging. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 121.45.198.201 (talk) at 06:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC).

Sacrifice Pawn does only the following: "Kills target ally. Caster gains Health equal to that ally's current Health." It seems Mobs are "called" by the Boss, twice, when his health gets low. Filofax1us 07:23, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
It seems that either he summons extra help every time his health gets low or that he's able to summon more than two groups. I counted five groups summoned in when I just fought him. Amitiel 14:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

anet, can u make this quest more boring than it already is..ty --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.22.89.13 (talk) at 09:21, 3 November 2010 (UTC).

I know it feels infinite, but spawns do end after a long time. Anyways, it is possible to take this quest slow. Keep killing the groups as they spawn and make sure to pull them to the path you came from instead of just fighting them in the central area where the 3 paths connect or you'll probably get overwhelmed. Even when you think they've stopped spawning, wait a min or two before doing things like attempting to pull stuff away from the boss just in case they really aren't over yet. Eventually, you can proceed to pull the guys surrounding the boss away from him - again, pull such that your team is within the path you came from in case new spawns appear (due to event triggers or whatever else). In the end, the boss will be all alone and you can go in to finish him.
Did this with just henchies. Think the main thing that killed him was I had a MM hench with max # bone minions and went in with barbs (he definitely couldn't steal hp fast enough to stay alive ^^). Also had an interrupt ranger and myself using discord and YMLAD to interrupt his life stealing skills.
Note: one time when I killed him, maybe I got lucky, but the boss got pushed to the little balcony behind where he initially stands and he didn't summon anything all the way through his beating. Leads me to believe there wasn't enough space? --Dracx 07:04, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

As of 2011 this quest has changed. It is far from simple and damn near impossible with only H/H. Unless you are going to post skill and build suggestion stop cluttering this space with "it's simple" crap. I've gone with one healer, and two healers, and pain inverter type spells and interupts and while getting to end boss may be easy once you are there you can not clear the platform or get the boss out of pack. H/H rez at wrong times and do just about every stupid thing you can imagine in the middle of what is already impossible. Shut off and manually control your rez or they will make sure to rez/kill you down to 60% and ignore all your called targets. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 96.250.242.21 (talk).

Don't think the quest changed at all. And there's no need to go with henchmen with the 7 hero update. Konig/talk 20:22, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

As others in this page has noted, this is the worst quest I have encountered in Guild Wars. It's not hard, any muppet with 5 heroes can do it. The problem is that it is a giant borefest. The whole quest seems to build upon testing whether the player will very obviously allow himself to be overrun. It would have been completely fine to test this once or twice, but when you're spending the good part of an evening thinking "Oh jolly, i've finally cleared this area, now I can attack the boss", just to realize that the minimap is filling with red dots YET AGAIN, forcing you to retreat-pull-careful-not-to-overaggro for the umpteen-th time, I sincerely hope that some quest designing clown has moved on and is now working at Zynga. By far the best one yet[edit]

Actually exciting at the end part. Basically just focused on beating the living day light out of the last boss and not caring what spawned! Not sure if this is there but make sure (if you have not done it) to kill every other group before the boss... I think a group spawns on the left of the temple ever "x" minutes so be careful with timing. Great one GW devs... very enjoyable :D oh and I stayed behind the boss on his erm alter(??)

Personally with minions all running around the "alter" or ledge when the final boss spawns u do not need to care (depending on your team build) of the spawns when the final boss's health goes low--| Moscow | 12:44, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

We played this today in Hard Mode. Within the Temple of Tolerance there seem to be plenty groups patrolling in large circles. The number is finite though, maybe 6 groups or so. We killed them all before approaching the boss group. After killing the boss group members we attacked the boss himself and witnessed three additional groups spawning: first at around 50% health, second at around 25% health and third group right before he died. Between killing those groups we always retreated and so the boss regenerated health back over the thresholds again. We assume he'll spawn those 3 groups, once again being a finite number. All in all it was a nice challenge taking a considerable amount of time and teamwork. T.T.H. 21:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Good for farming?[edit]

I have only had time to attempt the quest once, and only after doing it the first time I was curious as to whether it would be a decent quest for farming. Right before the end boss in the middle of the temple many groups of mantle converge every so often and I was wondering if anyone knows if they keep coming forever or if they stop after awhile? I know when I did the mission they appeared to stop coming but then right as I would go up to attack the boss I could see another group running in. Any thoughts? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Ressurected derv (talk).

After a few mobs they seem to stop dropping items. So I would assume no. EiveTalk 05:37, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

I had lots of luck clearing all the mobs that keep running in and then just pulling the boss Koril down from the platform. All kinds of mobs spawn but I had pulled him far enough back that nothing aggroed that spawned they just sat back and ate popcorn as I killed him. I have killed him at least a dozen times and that is the easiest I have killed him. 209.62.171.252

Zaln the Jaded[edit]

I've heard conflicting information that Zaln the Jaded does not spawn if you have Temple of the Intolerable active as a quest. Can anyone provide more information for or against this claim? - Zaxares 01:30, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

I just did the Temple + Wanted quest yesterday and I can assure you that Zaln did pop. However, you have to talk to Dinas to gain access. Otherwise the door will prevent you to reach him.84.14.104.195 08:05, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Spawns[edit]

Which idiot came up with the idea to make an infinite spawn loop? Boss < 25 % HP, spawn, boss eats a spawn, boss >25% HP, boss gets damage, boss <25% HP, more spawns. Is it a bug or intentional cause i got (literally) 30 white mantles and jades after wiping all patrols. 30 vs 6 seems kinda unfair... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 145.116.238.130 (talk) at 11:19, 11 July 2010 (UTC). Oh and more greatness: res shrine is at several minutes walking if 30 high level vs 6 low level kills the low levels.

It wasn't impossible nor infinite. There are patrols that go to the center, but the pop up from the boss is not infinite. Even the patrols don't seem to be, but if you don't keep an eye on them - especially in the beginning when they are fast in appearing - they will overrun you. And if there are lots of groups, just pull one with a long or flat bow. -- Konig/talk 17:10, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Agree with critical with this infinite nonsense - first try: I havent infused armor, so I got smashed... but no patrol spawn when boss fighting; second try: I got instant patrol replenish - like every 10 second one new - it was crazy - of course I got killed - VERY UNBALANCED & bugged & weird quest... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.192.25.2 (talk) at 02:19, 9 December 2010 (UTC).

This Quest Is Bullshit -.-[edit]

If you arnt running gimmiks or have thousands of cons it is a nightmare to H/H. The boss has a constant massive health regeneration, and my melee attacks as a dervish only hit for 5 (15 if i use skills), if you somehow manage to get him to 25% health he will then spawn all these mobs on you and whipe you, but even if you manage to kill all the monsters the boss will now be at full health again because he was healed... -.- i was literally attacking him straight for 1 hour... Headchopperz 15:58, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

I can't remember that quest exactly, wether it was hard or not, but we neither used gimmicks nor cons. My friend and me used some builds from pvx.wikia, but none of the "you can go afk and come back when they are dead" skills or teambuilds, and we have lots of problems in some areas, like Slavers Exile, this quest is no where as hard. A build consisting of randomly chosen skills and so might not be working, but thats literally everywhere Aurion 17:21, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
. Well... he said it's hard to H/H it, not to do it with a friend... And he's definetely right, most WiK quests are really hard to H/H because of the low level of Krytan henchies. My recommendation if you want to H/H this quest is to carry no henchies (in lvl 10 they do little damage and drain all the healing from your monk, or even die in 1 hit) or doing it in HM. It may seem doing it in HM should be harder, but there's not much difference between NM and HM white mantles, and you'll be able to carry 2 lvl 20 henchies. Wiping out white mantle with a 6 H/H group it's not that hard in HM, specially if you bring a MM to provide both damage and protection. --Lhoj 17:29, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Generally, an hour-long battle with one boss suggests it might be time to reconsider the strategy. Bring some interrupts, some degen, and some spikes (plus whatever else you like to run). It's twice as easy with even one other player, so try to get someone to join you. I'm sorry you found it difficult.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 03:38, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

I did it in NM with my Spirit Spam Rit, Dunkoro and Tahlkora (both heal/prot), Diversion/Power Lock/Mistrust Norgu, and the Warrior henchmen. I killed all the patrols... and pretty much everything in the area before I went after Koril. ._.; Anyway, at the end, the trick is to pull Koril down from his platform. That way, when the extra mobs spawn, they spawn up where he was, not where he currently is, and you don't fight them (assuming you pulled him far enough). --70.173.28.17 21:27, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

did it with a spear paragon, an illusion mesmer, minion master, and healing monk in NM 4/6. It can't possibly be that hard. — Skakid 03:54, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
had to do it solo with 4/6 in NM, lvl 10 henchies suck for this. If you just keep pulling single groups they will eventually stop coming, then when you start going for him when he's the only one left, just run when he spawns stuff. He'll eat a couple of them for health gain, then you pull the remaining ones, then go for him again, repeat until he quits spawning stuff, eventually it'll be just him and you'll get him, just frustrating how long you have to pick at this guy.. 65.255.86.13 05:28, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
I did this with heroes and henchies in NM. Wasn't very hard. I brought a monk with UA and a monk with HB - I have no clue what PvX does to these guys, I just brought normal monk skills - and a mesmer with interrupts and extra heals/hex removal. I'm an SoS rit, so I'm doing most of the damage. I bought two Mad King's Guards, because LOL Candy Corn Men, and I basically used them like minions. Send them in as distractions - extra effective with their minion summons - let them die, then have the UA res them. I tried to keep one of them alive most of the time, but it honestly wasn't that hard. They both stayed alive most of the mission, with a few exceptions. Considering they're level 12 vs. level 28s, they did amazingly well.
I'll also note that my monk heroes both had VERY good energy management (WNWN + Power Drain + 8 or more Insp. Magic = Love, and max energy most of the time on heroes). The only thing that made this hard was the frustratingly huge supply of patrols - I did wipe once, when I managed to both miss a Savant and aggro a patrol at the same time. When it's not Halloween, I bring this same group build but with two warrior henchies for all WiK missions. None of them have been too hard so far, as long as I remember to bring an interrupt mesmer and a good monk or two. --76.166.187.131 03:31, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

I've H/H every Main quest in every campaign and this is by far the most insane Pile of BS quest to date. I can't even get to the Boss. The spawns don't stop and Heroes/Henchies are too stupid not to move when being bombarded by Ele AoE's. Also would it have Killed them to put a res shrine somewhere? Omnimutant 11:12, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

If you're going to run this using a minion master, I'd highly recommend bringing something like pain inverter to counter his frequently used unholy feast. Also, It seems like his summone groups (at 25/50/75% hp) only spawned once for me. I got him to 50% once, he spawned 2 groups on his platform going down to 50, and I wiped. Next go round I got him to 25% before he spawned any extra mobs there. 66.44.164.26 04:25, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Absolute shit, ANET did a good job of abusing bullshit in a area that only allows 6 as the max party size... Nearly undoable H/H... Did it with discordway and 1 sos. My build wasn't anything spectacular either. My mistake was only bringing in only 1 healer. I just dpsed the boss till he spawned his adds. Killed all the adds dpsed boss, rinse, repeat. He summons adds at 75%, 50% and 25% but ONLY ONCE. So just push him past that and kill the adds. Patrol Spawns[edit]

After attempting this quest i've noticed that the patrols that congregate below Koril seem to just keep respawing. Could someone confirm that these partols infinitly respawn, or if not, how many time they must be killed before they stop spawning.

Abbess Katherine 06:20, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

I just tried it and they appear to be respawning as well. I clear everything, go off to kill a patrol before doing Koril, and bam. We get swamped by people who weren't there a few minutes ago. 76.250.38.1 18:56, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
So annoying! What the dick?! 173.76.111.85 04:51, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

The same thing has happened to me when trying this quest with some guildies, the thing is some of them said that the patrols have no end, but someone else said that they only spawn three or four times before stopping. Abbess Katherine 00:30, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Spawn is random, according to my watching... Sometimes they spawn very ofter (life 15 seconds) Sometimes never... Weird... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.192.25.2 (talk) at 02:25, 9 December 2010 (UTC).
I just competed this in NM running BOTH wanteds and the required quest. Clearing the "neverending spawns" is much easier for H/H groups IF you just go the back way!! The bridge above the back gate (see the original quest-secondary objective) has been replaced-so you can move behind the fort and clear all of the White Mantle groups first (instead of waiting for them to appear). Once you've cleared EVERYTHING then go back and attack the bridge. You'll still have a number of mobs to pull from the plaza, but fewer outliers to worry about.68.59.41.150 15:06, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
The patrols are not infinite, although they continue to spawn much longer than is intuitive, and can seem that way. Make sure you have killed all the patrols that come rushing in before attacking Koril- there may be about 6 patrols that come in. Also, it helps to stand on the dais while fighting him. NALANA 01:44, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

After you clear the initial spawns around the boss, the patrols start coming. Once you deal with all the patrols and engage the boss, it triggers more patrols. Once you deal with those and get the boss down to half HP, he spawns a group and more patrols start coming. The whole "challenge" is how much time you can put aside for this dumbass quest.--DWFreak 11:19, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Just leave one or two foes alive from each patrol mob, and then spike the shit out of the boss, bring panic or something like psychic instability to rupt/KD all the shit that spawns on top of Koril. interrupting sacrifice pawn is also a good idea. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 11:53, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Possible tactic[edit]

Rather than trying to pull Koril "from the front" and have to deal with the spawns as he loses health, I tried clearing the mobs around & behind his platform, then spell-cast against Koril through the walls at the side of the platform. This agroed him enough to run around towards us, at which point he was pretty much far enough away from the platform and those extra spawns, that we could him down very easily. --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 23:16, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Little tip[edit]

I've done this about 5x now - once you've cleared to the Temple - clear the foes immediately beside Koril, then rush onto the far side of his platform before the next patrol comes. Lock your mesmer hero to train Koril with interupts/mistrust and basically spike him before he spikes you with the foes that spawn around him when he reaches the quarter health marks. If you bring dissonance theres also a strong chance it will interrupt his Sacrifice Pawn too. Bring splinter weapon on a hero so that when you're training Koril with attacks, everything adjacent blows up too. (Takes about 12 minutes) --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 13:38, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Infinite Spawns[edit]

Pretty sure they respawn forever. To those of you that think they don't, you probably just killed them faster than they respawn. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.21.198.34 (talk) at 02:22, 24 April 2011 (UTC).

I had a lot of trouble with this quest. The reinforcements slowed to a halt after about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I suspect there's a finite end; when there isn't, such as some missions in Nightfall, the mobs stop giving XP and items. These mobs continued to give both. --UserZathicSig.PNGZathic 04:44, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Reinforced[edit]

Hi - I did this quest once a year ago or so... But Unable to do it once again on NM and full hero party... it is freaky and terribly overpowered... Moreover heroes suffer strange behavior - they are not controlable with flags when near Koril... they simply don't obey... Any similar experiences? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.192.25.2 (talk) at 10:53, 9 May 2011 (UTC).

Edit: I bodyblocked him alone on his pedestal - out of reach of incoming groups... 8x discord 2x meteor shower 11 minion dmg, poison nova... interrupts ... etc... not able to get his health under half... so where is the problem - Am I realy forced to use those damned/profane pvx wiki builds - Is it rly made for normal players? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.192.25.2 (talk) at 11:16, 9 May 2011 (UTC).
Use mesmers, they're horribly overpowered in PvE - and use Ritualists with Spirits - either they will Spike Koril to zero health pretty quickly, or they will act as a shield for your party vs the white mantle. Just consult PvX wiki if you still have trouble.. also discord is weak in war in kryta due to their condition and hex removal. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 12:51, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Dinas' dialogue mistake?[edit]

I'm not sure if this intended or not, but in Dinas's dialogue at the end when he is talking about where Koril is, he says "He should be hard to miss." Shouldn't it be, "He shouldn't be hard to miss." Is this a mistake or not? Raikage 01:27, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Are you saying that the wiki documented the text incorrectly? Or that his actual dialogue in-game is borked? Or that you can't tell by looking at the article? If the first, you can fix it. If the second, we generally document that by adding a {{sic}} tag after the misleading/misspelled/mis-grammar'd but accurate text. If it's the third, we'll have to wait for someone to watch the dialogue again to let us know. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:32, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Sorry I should have been more clear. What I meant was that the actual in-game text says, "He should be hard to miss." Raikage 01:39, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I believe it is correct. At first I also thought it to be misspelled, but reading through it again, it seems quite right as hard to miss = easy to find. It's just that usually one would say either "He shouldn't be hard to find" or "He should be easy to find". However, unless I have just utterly failed at grammar, all suggest the very same thing - target is easy to find. Your suggested negation "He shouldn't be hard to miss." would say it is not hard to miss him which feels untrue and grammatically even more confusing as it basically reads "he should not be hard not to find". better read this at least twice User ***EAGLEMUT*** Signature.png ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 17:59, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Hmmn. It would be better if ANet changed the text to avoid the issue, to e.g. dude! you can't miss him! Since that's not gonna happen, I accept Eaglemut's take...and agree that the {{sic}} should be removed. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:22, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

What a fail attempt at a quest[edit]

One of the worst quests in the entire game. This is even worse than the winds of change minister cho mission in terms of stupid design and difficulty. Can't even get him lower than 1/4 hp, and what kind of game designer says "oh to beat it you need this EXACT skill layout". Daze, mistrust, chaos storm, etc, and if you're dying to the groups he spawns in "mere seconds" something's badly wrong. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 13:45, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Spawns not Infinite[edit]

Decided to drag another char through WiK, and investigated the 'infinite spawns'. Killed somewhere around 8 groups in the middle of the temple. Nothing else appeared for awhile - Proceeded to kill all foes milling around in the large area behind the temple. Some appeared to be slowly moving for the temple. When i got back there was one group waiting for me, which spawned another group when it was killed, after this, i looked around and waited and nothing came.

Killing the foes that stand near the boss spawned 2 more groups, one incoming from each side. After this, it was just the boss standing up there and looking around and waiting found no additional foes/waves.

While fighting the boss no additional foes arrived besides the ones he summons at the location he initially stands at. I stood there for several minutes mid fight with heroes flagged only in healing range to be sure. Definitely not infinite, pretty easy quest since full hero parties. Xen 07:28, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

Interesting... I am very thankful to you for taking the time to research and post your results. I was sure the spawns stopped after a while, but never bothered to count. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 07:41, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
I had warrior myself, panic mesmer, sos rit with heal stuff, paragon hero support with disrupt chant and go for eyes, sogm rit, heal/prot monk. Having a lot of spirits and paragon and mesmer seemed to help a lot compared to anything else.
  1. Pull first groups with warrior boss and kill
  2. Pull carefull mobs before final boss
  3. Kill nearest mobs around castle (hint there's some bosses you can kill for extra bonus which helps)
  4. Carefully go aggro boss look if there's more patrols if there is retreat and kill them
  5. At some point there will be no extra patrols, only jade and some white mantle which will spawn to boss
  6. Kill jade but leave one white mantle alive, there shouldn't spawn more. I am not quite sure, maybe I just kept boss interrupted so it couldn't kill last white mantle. Anyhow I didn't get any more spawns when I left one white mantle and managed to kill boss with high dp. Spirits and mesmers and paragons ftw for this one.
I had a legit chess match against this guy, but mated him in the end. The middle of the temple is a slaughter pit, but the bridge can be used to condense groups for Panic and nuking. After kasandra was dead, I couldn't get him to come down the stairs until another patrol group came. Once all 3 of his spawn groups had shown up, he retreated up the stairs and they all came down, so I had to ball them up on the bridge like with the multigroup patrols. After a small scare against the jade cloaks, he was easy to kill alone atop his platform. And yeah, I realize I made it harder on myself than it had to be, but it was fun. Hands down, worst mission in all of Guild Wars, just tried it 7 different times, not counting respawn tries. This mission is so damn stupid.

(Reset indent) Infinite? Technically nothing is. But, this quest is as close as it gets in any game I've ever played.

I've gained two skill points so far, with no end in sight. Heroes simply do not move to the flags once they're on his platform, so NEVER follow that stupid advice. Once your heroes are balled up, he becomes impossible to kill due to his Life Transfer pumping all of their health into his own. Unless you have a very good set of builds on your heroes, this quest may very well be impossible to complete.

But, infinite? Can't tell; time will end first. But this quest is the closest thing I've ever seen to infinite in a game.

The odd part is that I've completed it before, several times. Something has changed. Daddicus 03:48, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Finally, after several hours, I made it. What I had to do was party wipe (to get the heroes to move to another location). Then, I flagged them one at a time to 4 different places on his pedestal. (This is critical; life transfer makes him nearly impregnable when balled up.) Groups spawned every time his health hit 25%, but then I quickly changed focus to the new guys, killing them one at a time.
Eventually, I got good enough that I could kill the whole group before his health hit 100% again. From there, it was a matter of keeping the heroes from moving and balling up again. Plus, I got right in his face so he was most likely to aggro on me. He would use LT on me, but none of my guys were next to us, so it was basically wasted. After several more groups, I finally hit the right timing to kill him.
But I have to say that something has definitely changed, and not for the better. Infinite spawns should not be possible. My experience cannot disprove the "infinite" hypothesis, though. They just kept coming until he was dead. Daddicus 04:10, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

(Reset indent) This is BY FAR the worst quest in all of Guild Wars. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.0.145.236 (talk • contribs) at 18:27, 31 July 2012 (UTC).

And Fuck Gorth Too[edit]

I know I'm gonna get banned if someone actually reads this but it's a dead wiki for a dead game so no big less: fuck this fucking garbage quest and fuck the enormous faggot that decided to lock oppressor weapons behind it. With a fucking perfectly specced hero part I get to chief twat commander Koril, fight eight hundred billion fucking patrols until a fucking window appears in which to go in, then when I actually do and flag my heroes on the platform behind the anorexic cunt, when his health gets down to about 10% 8 fucking Jade Bows APPEAR out of thin air, spawned in literally on top of each other on the same fucking platform my heroes are flagged on. Nice party wipe, very fair, much fun, not glitchy at all. "Hurr durr but the mission works fine for me": rope yourself. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.130.201.247 (talk) at 17:51, 20 August 2018‎ (UTC).
