Well, I had been going with what I had recently seen on Regina's page, but since she archived each continuation, I guess it doesn't make much sense. To be honest, it's the summer and I've had quite some drama in school. I'm here to make a defense for my points but I completely know that everyone else will simply throw up their counterdefenses, making this an endless drama loop. Regardless, I'd like to state some points anyways.

First, NPA is a good thing gone bad. It's been thrown around far too much, thinned out, and as a result, it is less enforced. I admit I made a small violation of NPA ("...noobs like yourself") but apart from that I do not see anything serious. NPA has been used so much at the first sign of conflict that we can't even bring users to accountability (u c wut i did dere) without having it called on us.

Now, about my thesis statement. It's the first sentence. Read it. I support that point with the fact that he has been permabanned multiple times on PvX (paradox!) due to exhibiting behavior similar to what he is discouraging here. I have no problem with discouraging bad behavior, but a troll doing so is not just being a hypocrite, he can also judged to be... well, trolling.

And that brings me to my final point. Igor says something about me possibly "avoiding a ban", "flam[ing]", "breac[hing] NPA several times." *looks at other wikis* Hmm... But seriously. You do a crapload of negative speculation, and make up stuff about my statement (flaming, several breaches of npa) and then you lol at it. Like wow.

The point is that PvX and GWW are seperate entities. Sure, Igor may be walking dangerously close to the line currently, but unless you can relate his actions on PvX to form a direct pattern to here, it's just stirring up unnecessary shit. As to your cry of NPA as a sucker punch, at least if I understood that right. The point is that you're attacking Igor as an editor and a person without putting relevant actions in the equation. I stay out of PvX because the drama there goes off the charts, but maybe that's because I make the charts based off here and normal wikipedia. Maybe your NPA wasn't a direct attack or totally mean-spirited, but it still comes off as an unnecessary, baseless (in regards to GWW) attack, and it was meant as an attack. "Fail less plx" isn't exactly the best thesis if you're trying to avoid NPA, anyway, so thanks for clearing that up.

Igor, I have some comments for you too. Did you check the contributions of 99.235.230.36? I wouldn't call a 34-edit IP a proxy, they normally don't even hit ten. It would also be best for you to just generally try to be less confrontational; I'm not saying that I find your actions totally flawed, but users who tend to skim the edge of violations don't get much favor in skirmishes along the way. Two wrongs never make a right here, only two blockz. Not telling you how to edit, just saying what I've seen.

Since it appears to be a common issue here, i would advice you to just start and going on a archive spree. Openly ignoring users offers better results in the long term than responding to them in a simmilar tone.
Also, you may want to refrain from posting in the admin noticeboard for every minor issue that arises, or the report may backfire.
Seriously, going low-profile for a while may be a better course of action than insisting on responding to every harrassment attempt. Your recent actions (such as abusing of the admin noticeboard, spamming, etc) are earning you a reputation that you will not shake easily here. You probably already know, but please use the Show Preview and Minor Edits functions. As per the policy on User Pages: "When making edits to your user page or its subpages, always mark them as minor edits [emphasis added] to allow them to be filtered from the list of recent changes. Use the 'Show preview' button to avoid doing multiple small edits to your user page, instead of saving the changes every time". And speaking of archival, is not so much about "archiving just because", but if the page keeps getting larger, eventually people will be unable to edit on it (the limit changes depending on the browser you use).
