[edit] Move proposal

I don't think this article should be moved, but I do think that of Slaying should redirect here. -- Gordon Ecker 19:19, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

It's not "Slaying" bcause ingame, it always appears as part of a word, eg. Charrslaying.Backsword

In game it would appear for example: Bow Grip of Demonslaying, therefore slaying should be lowercase imo. --Lemming64 18:55, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To many dead things

skeletonslaying and deathbane should be the same thing :p -Kumdori 19:29, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Skeletonslaying is simply inferior to deathbane, since skeletons are undead too. Paddymew 09:36, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Spells?

would this also count damage done by spells or only done by the weapon?

Only by the weapon. This mod is prety useless on a staff unless you plan on attacking with your staff alot. ImperialPriest 09:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Daggers, Spears and Scythes

Can anyone confirm that these slaying mods exist for daggers, spears and scythes? Other than the obvious ones that come from Jonathan Blunt? Easy

Go kill some monsters and id an item for them or something. I'll keep a look out and see if I can find one. — Eloc 00:57, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
So far, I haven't found a single one, or anyone else who has. Unless someone can confirm they exist, a note may be needed to indicate that the slaying mods don't occur naturally on dropped daggers, spears or scythes. Easy 13:28, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Construct Mods

I propse merging Skeletonslaying into Deathbane, and create Constructbashing in its place... We need weapons mods for Golems, Shiro'kens and other mechanical/robotic/clockwork creatures. --Falconeye 18:35, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

We need Humanslaying more than we need constructbashing. +20% dmg in PvP would be overpowered, though. Paddymew 09:40, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Where from...

Can we have indications where to get specific "Of slaying" mods/items. A list of collectors weaponsmith and a drop research would be very useful.Zomby 20:23, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

/agree... ive been looking for a few of these.. only thing i ever got was a perfect bowgrip of dwarfslaying. never used it though...
the bowgrip was attached to a bow dropped by a stone summit archer in Kilroy Stonekin dwarven boxing quest. Fear 14:53, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
As with any mod, they can drop anywhere on anything. There are no collectors that offer "Of Slaying" mods only the crafted Charr slaying weapons available from Jonathan Blunt in Eye of the North. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 15:21, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
My casual experience suggests that these mods seem to drop in one place, for example farming undead in Fahranur, The First City has yielded quite a few dead swords with deathbane mods and I seem to recall getting pruning mods around Vabbi. This would require a drop research table and research before we could say anything worthwhile though. Misery 15:28, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

You can get +20% charrslaying modded hammers, swords and bows in post-searing Ascalon at some collectors. Expert Salvage Kit FTW. Paddymew 09:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

This is pure speculation, but try in low-level areas and farm there. Gold items seem to drop with perfect slaying mods. gotten two dragonslaying axes in Jaya Bluffs and a pruning bow in The Falls. LunchboxOctober 18:08, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Presearing

i just got a 18% tengu slaying mod in the preasearing. What a dissapointment......--Ultima Flames 18:28, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
