The Vehtendi Valley contains one of a few fertile stretches of the river Elon within the borders of Vabbi. Farmlands and settlements are concentrated towards the south. In the northeastern corner, across the river, lies the Hanging Gardens of Jahin.

Characters will first arrive in this area as part of the primary quest Rally The Princes, traveling from Yatendi Canyons from the southwest.

- Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 2.9% to the Elonian Cartographer title.
- This is one of the few areas in Guild Wars where the ambient environment of the area resembles nighttime.
- These quests affect the spawns in this area:
- Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests requires defeating around 250 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 241 to 259.
- Be careful when vanquishing the southwestern area of the map. Four boss groups are relatively close to each other.
