Serenity Of The Eclipse is a very relaxed guild, with no other goal than having fun in a laid back environment. People immediately feel welcome when they join, and we like to promote equality and understanding among players. Serenity Of The Eclipse is no longer recruiting, as the majority of members have moved onward to other games. The majority of our membership are awaiting the arrival of Guild Wars 2.
Serenity Goals
- Our goal is to offer a place of peace and tranquility where everyone is welcome, no matter how small your contribution to gaming life may be. Serenity is not just about one guild or alliance in Guild Wars. We hope for this community to be much more in the days to come.
- Imagine a place where any guild or alliance can call their home, whether they are an in-game ally or whether they simply consider themselves part of the extended Serenity family. Imagine a place where players and friends can play together without requirements or demands, a place friendly to all ages and all levels of experience. This is what we dearly hope Serenity to become in future.
- Our focus is simple: To create a relaxed community of friends, without the stresses that often come with competitive gaming. We recognise that it is all too easy to gain and loose friends over "matters of the pixels". For this reason, it is important to us to be able to provide a place where competition is not the collective focus of our virtual play time.
- Serenity is not intended to become a single guild or alliance, but an extension of like minded people brought together for the betterment of the community.
Guild Resources & Activities
Ventrilo Server:
Serenity has its own ventrilo server which is also open to befriended guilds. This means our members can chat to each other while playing as well as just generally having a chat with fellow members.
Access to Ventrilo is available free to guild members, and log in details are provided in the Status Message of the guild.
Guild Wars Auctions Website:
On 12 July 2008 a new auctions website was launched to the global Guild Wars community called Guild Wars Auctions. This website has allowed us to start offering our members reliable auction services. With already well over 400 members joining the auction site in the first month alone, we're seeing some fantastic results. There is no better way to remove the trade spam than to offer your members somewhere better to sell their goods!
This website was created and founded by the Guild Leader and Co Leaders of Serenity Of The Eclipse [STAR] and other moderators of the website maintain officership within [STAR].
Website and Forums:
Our members enjoy having access to a forum, which allows us all to stay in touch and up to date with what's going on in the guild. We frequently organise events for the guild via the forum, so it tends to be our central hub to make sure people are in on all the fun. Additionally our website and forum is open to every Guildwars player who wants to join in on the fun. And it's also possible for other growing guilds to get their own space on the Serenity forum. This way we want to create a bigger community and give possibility to more people to share fun as well as practical information.
Regular Event Organisers
One thing we are blessed with in Serenity Of The Eclipse is having a dedicated Events Team who are responsible for arranging twice weekly outings for the guild. Serenity is also home to 
Bunny and those in the Bunny Crew events committee, who tend to put together large events for the community. Weekly events tend to range from Hard Mode mission, Dungeons, Elite Quests, Treasure Hunts, Quiz Nights, and Scrimmage fun.
